TEAM
The Silver Lining Development Team
Want to know who we are? Who's behind this idea? Or even better, want to join and be part of this amazing journey? This page is dedicated just for that!
Project Info
There are two main objectives behind The Silver Lining and Phoenix Online Studios.
The first is to bring the genre of adventure gaming back to its roots while giving it an overhaul of new elements such as the contemporary graphic format and more attention given to plot rather than random "pixel hunting". With a small number of exceptions, most recent adventure games have failed to come up with the goods when compared to the benchmark set by the earlier classics of the genre and with TSL we plan to rectify that.
The other main objective was to create a community for our fellow adventure gamers where they can be given what they miss from the golden days and provide a space where they do not feel so isolated from the current trends of the gaming industry.
Our website illustrates this goal by the considerable amount of fan-based interaction found on it, such as the voice over auditions and costume competition – each of which will result in successful applicants being included in the game. Many of the features to be found on our website, the Journal for example was made with adventure game enthusiasts in mind so they can gain an insight into how the project is developing.
Team Info
Phoenix Online Studios encompasses an extremely broad range of dedicated and talented individuals who give up their free time to realize the vision that is "The Silver Lining". Our team is situated all around the world with members in North and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia who are all working together to bring the game to life. Despite the fact that this is no one's 9-5 job, the standard of work produced by our team speaks otherwise. Our artists are creating breathtaking graphics to give life to the intricate and innovative storylines produced by our writers; our musicians are creating emotion-filled original pieces to accompany the story and our programmers weave it all together.
