Today, December 17 2014 marks the 21st Anniversary of Jane Jensen‘s Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers. Originally launched auckland pharmacies levitra by Sierra On-line, the series left its mark on gaming through an expertly written story, dialog and realistic characters. It kept players yearning for more as they uncovered a hidden conspiracy within the heart of New Orleans while slowly building tension and a sense of impending fear.

Readers may recall our Gabriel Knight countdown for the 20th Anniversary Edition launch, which among others, saw the release of a new short story written by Jane Jensen herself. ‘The Temptation’ is the first addition to the Gabriel Knight lore since Sierra‘s last adventure game, Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

Now the short story is now being recreated in a three-part comic book format, mirroring the accompanying pieces that were bundled with Sierra‘s original Big Box releases. To celebrate the 21st Anniversary of Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers we are releasing chapter 1 of ‘The Temptation’ comic book for free. Subsequent chapters will be available on a later date.

Taking place six months after his last quest, ‘The Temptation‘ begins with Gabriel back in Germany and working on another case, wondering where does one go after fulfilling their destiny. Uncovering his family’s line true history and how it ties to his Schattenjäger roots will certainly go down as one of the most important findings in the Shadow Hunters’ records. Perhaps just as important, we also learn what happened to Gabriel after reading Grace’s letter at the end of Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned.

Gabriel Knight is a series that shaped the way we at Phoenix Online view gaming. For many of us, the games levitra generic cialis are an important part of our childhood. This medium can create truly memorable characters with gripping storylines, something we all strive for. For this, we owe our thanks to Sierra On-Line and Jane Jensen, thank you for the wonderful stories and memories.
