Among these alien ruins are strange stone heads reminiscent of the Moai statues found on Easter Island. Whatever their reason for being on the planet are as much a mystery to Powell as they are to the player. The only thing definite about them are that they are thoroughly creepy and unnerving. Almost as if they’re staring straight at you. Even without carven eyes they still seem to pierce the soul. What they’re standing guard over is unknown but it’s obvious that they play an important part in the long-gone civilization as a multitude of them are found just outside the main complex investigated by Powell. Perhaps he can discover their function and use them in some way to get off the planet.
