I am having an issue with getting the scroll to display correctly in the maze. It comes up fine to show the list of ingredients but when I click the arrow at the bottom of the scroll nothing happens. The crown icon comes up briefly and then the page does not change.
I did have problems installing, and may attempt a complete re-install again, but wanted to know if this was my system or a latent bug.

256 MB Video RAM
Latest ATI Video Drivers Installed
I'd also recommend you try visiting http://www.adobe.com and make sure you have the most current versions of both their Shockwave and Flash players from the bottom right corner of the homepage there. If that doesn't help then it probably is connected to the installation issues you had and you'll want to re-run the installer for all 4 episodes but point it to a directory other than the Program Files one where it normally tries to go. Just like C:\TSL or something like that.
I did the following to no avail, but I don't think that its the issue:
Reinstalled in C:\TSL
Updated shockwave and flash to the latest version
After this failed I went back to a previous save game prior to the maze. {Edit} My latest saved games have the problem, but I have not checked which.
After I get to the statue and leave I am able to see the additional map pages. I can close and reopen with no problem.
Sometimes when I open the map in other saved games I see a flicker of the 3rd page but then I am put back at the first page and can't change pages.
I was able to find the lock and key after this, but then when I tried to save the game locked up. I am calling it quits for the night, and I am hoping the lock up was a fluke (or I'll try running as admin).
{Edit} I tried the saved game that failed, as it did make a save file, and it locks up the game.
Have you tried running the game on the lowest graphics settings possible, or with the fullscreen mode box unchecked? Vista is a bit of a memory hog so it might not be leaving much for the game to use.
Just tried your suggestion. Turned off all graphics detail, and ran in 800x600 windowed mode.
I am able to restore with my latest working save, which is prior to picking up the lock or key. I then can pickup the lock and save with no issue. Once I pickup the key and attempt to save, it locks the game up mid-save. No image for the save is created, but a corrupt save file is created.
I am thinking I may go back to square one and run through the game in a different sequence to see if that has any impact. Is there a way to speed through all cut-scenes and dialog? I seem to remember some you can't skip by clicking the mouse.
Also, if you would like a copy of my last save file let me know.
Yeah you can click to skip any cutscene - it'll either skip the current line of dialog or give you the option to skip the entire cutscene.
And yeah you can attach your saves to posts here if you like.

One other interesting point. The save file that is corrupt is very large (4GB) as compared to normal saves (47kB), so I won't post that.
Haha oh wow yes that one must have just gone totally haywire somehow, they should definitely not ever get anywhere near that big. I'd delete that one out of the saves folder completely to free that space back up.
Wilco, how does that happen? This is the second time I've read of a huge save file. Does it dump the RAM to a file? Or is it like AVI containers, which include directory listings and redundant garbage?

I only saw it once in testing before the 2 people on the forums reported it - the time I saw it before release yeah it completely dumped everything in RAM into the save file. I haven't the foggiest reason why since I couldn't ever get it to happen again.
Have you tried my save file? Seems to do the trick for me every time...
