Besides archaelogist (http://www.postudios.com/blog/forum/index.php?topic=15186.msg363900#new), Bonny Ploeg (aka BBP) also likes to draw funny fan art (http://bonny.ploeg.ws/ducks.html). See the attached images. :D
If any one has artistic inclinations or knows about galleries of fan-art about Gabriel Knight serie, you can share them with us right here.
Phoenix Online started a fan-art contest at 2014 for the remake of GK1 (20th anniversary). The winners are in other post (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=5416). The artwork of Kim Sokol (lost) was used for the covert-art of The Temptation Comic Book (https://s3.amazonaws.com/POStudios_Games/GK1/GK_TemptationComic_Ch01-03.pdf).
Finally, the official covert-art for the remake was drawn by Chris Darril (http://chris-darril.deviantart.com/art/GABRIEL-KNIGHT-20th-Anniversary-Official-Front-552568251?purchase=print).
Haha! Those are great!
At last I've found the lost fan-art by Kim Sokol in my hard disk. See the attached images.
I also put the large versions of the 3 images in this folder (https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B_nakSX0fVysSWc5cUM2d1hPMEU&usp=sharing).
Elisa Pavinato and Mikael Palsio (artists of Phoenix Team) also like drawing their own fun fan art (https://es.pinterest.com/postudios/unofficial-art/). From those inclinations it sprang a cutscene with Gabriel doing graphic-excercises. The cutscene is included in the remake of GK1 (20th anniversary) as a hidden easter egg (https://youtu.be/TWfaftkogA8). :D
I don't know the background story behind the cutscene. Maybe some day Mikael or Elisa will tell us 'THE TRUTH'.

In Gabriel Knight 3 there is a fan-art image of Gabriel by Mike Krahulik. See the attached image or this link (MCMILLENCUSTOM) (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_nakSX0fVysSWc5cUM2d1hPMEU).
The image appears in SIDNEY if we look for 'tycho', 'penny arcade', 'dudash' or 'mcmillen'. In fact, it's an official easter egg (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_nakSX0fVysOXg2Z2ZoUHluWGM).
Besides the image, in the entry of SIDNEY appear these texts: "Special thanks to Gabriel from Penny Arcade" and "http://www.penny-arcade.com" (http://www.penny-arcade.com).
Penny Arcade is a webcomic focused on video games and video game culture, written by Jerry Holkins and illustrated by Mike Krahulik.
