Very true...as it was Saturday when you posted that first one. However, when I read it, I thought you had posted it yesterday. *sigh* Stupid timezones are beginning to throw me off.
Hmm, they are a bit of pain, I get round by having a variable time zone watch and I also happen to live quite near the Meridian Line so my time is GMT!
Of course, I think I kinda think that anything posted while I'm sleeping is considered "yesterday" when I get on in the mornings to catch up.

Well I think we're going to have to wait until a week from tommorow before we get anything besides a new AotW/poll. The web team was promoting a monthly update, but now that it hasn't happened for a couple weeks I'm thinking it's probably going to happen around the start of November.
hmmm, could be ....but sometimes journal updates are included in weekly updates (iirc) ...so I still hope we get it tomorrow ;-D
Yeah, I do remember that happening in the past, but I doubt they'd add something unusual like that tommorow instead of waiting an extra week to add it along with a big update.

Regardless, I have no doubts the new update will be great.
I appreciate it the support and completly dislike the paranoid comments. You have no idea what it's like to be working on a project day and night for over 2 years by now (yes, this team you know nowdays officially got together in 2002) and yet keep on working on it because of the love of it just for free, I am so glad that at least the most of the friends around here seem to be smart enough to understand we're normal people like them with work, studies, a life and actually obligations around here, for the others, as I said, if you just can't seem to be supportive towards our project neither seem to care then just keep your paranoid rants to yourselves, this is hard enough to get along with without going insane as for us to have to deal with blind comments. We all want this to be already out there, we all work during weekends when we could be perfectly fine just going out or just freaking sleeping if we wanted to, but no, we're stuck in the pc working for something which isn't paid and it won't be paid ever.
Just for your information, we've have this update done since already a month ago, I've been holding it back due the fact that at first we wanted to work on something we were going to launch soon enough with the update, things got extremely complicated and in the end we just couldn't (we didn't get the material on time), then we had to redesign the whole concept JUST to make it happen (yes, for you obviously, not for us, if you ask me I think we'd rather take the weekends off) and so far we just can't add more pressure to art department neither to other departments to seem to be working hard enough on the game as for us to push it unfairly.
Take it or leave it, this is a fan project who has been on the go with the resources we've found avaible, and again, the least I would ask for some of you if you just don't have anything good to say then keep it to yourself, this whole team diserves the best support they can get since it's not only Neil and I that work in 100 things at the same time, but also the normal staff who happen sometimes to get weekly around as many pieces they can humanly do which are plenty as well.
So far we have done what the previous staff couldn't do, we got the whole plot together in a year, and advanced greatly in art, music AND programming for the time we've been around, to me that's impressive enough, if you don't like it neither believe it then consider what side are you on and stop pretending to be supportive when you're clearly just not. We are not going to be babysitting everyone around here 24/7, we do manage to keep the weekly updates showing up as much as we can, hanging around as we can, but rate production has increased dramatically, to the point we already can plan out so many stuff which it should be a joy but apparently it's not, you rather see sketches forever, instead of what we could plan out to show around here, I guess.
The game is on the GO, we're stronger and better than ever, Im so freaking sorry we can't keep you all updated day by day, but sad to say we do have real lifes and so far we prioritize what we do. We do what we can and if it's not good enough then make up your mind for crying out loud. I remember I got a hate mail a couple of months ago, this guy comes and tells me that we should just knock it off with the website and just do something else, this person was complaining of the monthly updates, it obviously was rude and mean, because as always everyone seems to understimate what we do here, but then again, once the monthly updates are postponed you freak out? It is certainly odd how people tend to act toward everything, and noone can be happy with anything as it seems, but truth is, we are the ones that sit our asses till 3 am working sometimes just to show out what we do for free, with no obligation involved but just good will and love for this team, so if anyone cares deeply for what's being done or not here is obviously ourselves, we hate it that we had to let go our schedule to be able to assist Cesar in such important moments, but overall is the team, and we just can't sit and ignore it all, we've mentioned it so many times that it became pointless to even mention again, so yes, it does hurt that for trying to do a greater good we seemed to got screwed around here.
Good things are coming for everyone, you can either take them or leave them, but the dull comments are obviously an extra which noone appreciates.
You can consider this the rant of someone on a sunday, working for the same ppl who can't seem to write anything good but post for the sake to annoy whoever who reads.
Say, my comment wasn't meant to annoy you or piss you off, I was just having fun with the fact that you've been saying an update is coming. Now that I know why you've been saying that, I won't say anything else about it ;D
I, and I think pretty much everyone else, really appreciate your work on the project. You're making a dream come true for many of us, which is to play another KQ game. I have no doubt that the upcoming update will be awesome. Take as long as you want with it, I'm sure the new project will be well worth the delay.
Sorry if I haven't always seemed this supportive, the comments I've given before were true concern, but I forgot that you need support along with the criticism. Again, I really appreciate all the work you've done, and always have ever since I found this site.
I am really excited about this game and thank all the team members that are working on it. I was just worried when there was no update that the game was on hold. I will try to refrain from thinking the game will never be released. Sorry for my inpatience.
