Title: [NOT-FIXED]Graham gets stuck on balcony (Category: Gameplay)
Post by: paulhimes on July 13, 2010, 06:55:53 PM
I returned to the balcony where the royal family was watching the wedding.  I walked Graham to the end of the balcony, then clicked the "walk" icon on the doorway to the upper right of the screen.  Graham walked toward the right side of the balcony, rumped up a foot in the air and became stuck.  There seems to be a collision problem with the geometry of the balcony.

I've attached a screen shot...

I've walked him all over the balcony trying to recreate the issue and haven't been able to.  Have you encountered this more than once?  If not, it may just be a freak random bug that you met.  If you have, can you let me know exactly what settings you're playing the game under and your computer specs?  I'd like to match it up as closely as possible to see if it is a replicatable problem.

It happened by accident, the first time.  The second time, I caused it to happen.  It may be an issue of timing it just right (based on Graham's idle animation).  When I caused the problem the second time, it took lots of clicking and pausing and general "noodling-around" to make it happen.

Even if you can't reproduce this, I would suggest putting some kind of invisible barrier to stop graham from getting too close to the railing.

My computer specs are:
Windows 7 64-bit
Intel core 2 duo e8500
4GB ram

My game specs are:
High Detail (all options checked)

Problem occured in both windowed 1920x1080 and full screen 2048x1152 (32bit depth)

Thanks for the info, we'll definitely keep our eyes out for any more of these types of issues.
