You can start by trying to get into the throne room of the Castle of the Crown. You already have the required item to do so. You just need to find out where to place it to distract the guard.
Yes, I figured that out, but I've tried placing various items in all the places in the castle that I have access to and the female dog can be told to go check there, but to no avail, it doesn't let me place anything... I guess what I have to do is find a way to feed the meat to the dogs in front of the twins' room and then send the female dog there, so I think I have to find a place they can smell it from, but I haven't succeeded finding it yet. Am I even in the right direction?

Strange, I have already tried it and it didn't work. Maybe there are very specific coordinates you have to put it... Thanks anyway, I just hope I won't need any more spoilers for the rest of the game.
