Title: Whoop-dee-bleep-doo!
Post by: maudell on February 19, 2011, 03:00:43 AM
I finished, best episode so far... It was worth the wait!

One problem, it always crashes after the last cutscene, and I can't see the episode 4 trailer... :'(

I saw someone got it sent after having that prob... Can I, can I?

Thanks!

P.S.: The French Canadian guard was a nice addition... Was it a wink to us francophone fans over here in Canadia? I took it as such. ;)

  I could be totally way off the mark here, but I assumed that he was included because one of the staff members, Neil Rodrigues, is Canadian.  Not sure if he speaks French, but I'm pretty positive he voices one of the guard dogs. ;D

A number of staff members are Canadian, actually. That particular dog was voiced by Richard Houle, a programmer. We decided kind of on the spot to have him do the dog in French instead of English and do the cartoon-like bubbles for translating what he was saying :)

(The guard dogs are all voiced by former/current staff members--Richard H., Rich Flores, Cesar, Neil, Petter Holmberg, and myself. So in-game, I get to yell at Cez & Rich. I love that. :) )

Te hee, probably gives you a strange satisfaction. ;)

I didn't realize that a lot of staff members are Canadian, but it makes sense.  I'm glad you guys included the cartoony speech bubbles, made me laugh the first time I saw it. :D
