Hey there, KQ lovers!
I hate to admit this, but I started EP3 a couple of days ago, and I have NO idea how to proceed. With the exception of picking up a couple of items, I have made ZERO progress. Can any of you out there point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Well, theres a lot we could point you to--maybe you can give us a specific thing you're stumped on and we can start there?

Well, I don't want to spoil anything...

So far, I've encountered the un-distractable guard dog, and I can't figure that one out. There's the butterfly stuck to the web. Finally, the snapdragons on the IoW, who hold you even though you don't die...which I found peculiar. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

There's a spoiler tag button on the taskbar you can use to hide spoilers :) (I edited your post to add one)
For the guard dog:
Have you wandered around the castle much? Listen in to what the other dogs are talking about. See if that helps you figure out how to distract her.
For the butterfly:
You'll need something to help you 'catch' the butterfly. What do people usually use to do that? See if you can find an item like that.
For the snapdragons:
Did you play KQ6? Do you remember how Alex got the snapdragons to loosen up? See if you can achieve something similar with what's available to you when you're caught.

I actually figured out the first one right before you responded!
I know what object one would use, but I cannot find one!
As for the last topic, I did play KQ6, recently in fact, but I had something then that Graham does not have now!

The butterfly:
You need to visit the other islands to solve some of the puzzles--including the butterfly one.
The snapdragons:
A flute isn't the only way to make music. Graham's hands are tied, but how else can he make music? It's related to one of the Episode 2 contests.

Worked out just fine! Thanks for the tips.
I had forgotten how difficult KQ games could be, and you guys are definitely keeping it alive. Haha, this Chessland routine...
Cheers!
