Well that stupid scene sure took the fun out of the whole game. ::)
If you thought that took the fun out of the game, try maneuvering inside the tower. Speed and quick reflexes are critical.

how do I get to dreamworld?
You won't be able to help getting there when the time comes. Focus on whatever other puzzles you haven't solved yet and it'll happen.
