Maybe it would be better to limit the time between posts instead of the amount of posts - make people wait 3-5 minutes before they can post another message. I wouldn't mind since it takes me longer than that to write my posts 8)
with my cwappy connection it takes forever to post ; ) ...so waiting a few minutes doesn't seem that bad ; )
i have a really slow internet connection so it takes about 1 or 2 mintues to post again ; \, but we shouldnt limit pplz posting time :-\, if they want to post often then that should be an option to them ;D

Sometimes it takes me a few minutes to write a post, sometimes not, so I don't think there should be a spam-limit. Besides, I think Jeysie would suffer the most from such a limit, since IFAIK she types in her replies when she's offline, and then when she's back online she posts them all at once. :D

Yep, that is a common modus operandi for me. :D Not quite as common since I've been doing a lot of posting at work lately where I'm stuck with IE5 (grr), but still there.
I wouldn't care about a post limit, though. I never post more than 30 posts a day (and usually much less), so nyah. ;)

you know... there are 2 cases I recall which had the warning directly from me on both cases, not going to say names but it has happened before around here :P
