Absolutely Fabulous. Or anything with French and Saunders in really.

I'd also put in a vote for Whose Line is it Anyway? Partly because it *is* hilarious, but mostly because I don't watch a lot of comedies or sitcoms any more. (Close runner-up status for The Daily Show and Mystery Science Theater 3000.)

Peace & Luv, Liz

Well, I voted for Seinfield!  Gotta love that show...yada yada yada!

But if Who's line was up there, I'd have voted for it!

Jeez I'm forgetting lots of stuff today. First I leave The Simpsons off the cartoon poll, now the Daily Show? What is wrong with me?

I've only watched a few episodes of friends, and I have no idea what the other options are, so I'll refrain from voting. I'm not much into that kind of shows anyway. :S

What?! You've left out all the good ones! :o Doesn't anyone watch British comedies? What about Black Books, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Fawlty Towers, Black Adder, Red Dwarf and The Goodies? Those shows are classic !!!

You left out "Yes, Minister", "Are you being served?"  and "Monty Python's Flying Circus"!! Now those are classics!

I never "Friends" or "Seinfield" too funny... mostly amusing but nothing to make you ROTF about. The two other shows I don't know. As for "The Daily Show"... I think maybe you need to be an american to find it funny, since I didn't for the most part.

The funniest show I watched lately was "Scrubs"... it's not on anymore here though  :(

"Are you being served?" is great, I haven't seen it for a while though. Mostly it was one of those late night shows I'd watch while my parents were playing bridge at night.

Whoops! My bad !!! Though anything British and witty has potential. I'm not much for American humour. And Australian humour is hit and miss. When it's good, it's good. But it's not always good :(.

Scrubs got cancelled here as well :'( >:(. It started out prime time and they kept moving the slot until it was being shown at about 1 am. I dont get why - it was such a good show :(.

It's pretty much the same here :( They only buy shows which already proved themselves in the US, and when they fail to become instant hits, they don't buy the following season (even if there are more episodes). That's what happened here with BtVS  :'(

I would say Red Dwarf. I hadn't seen it in the longest time, but I just recently bought Series 1-4 on DVD. It's just excellent.

However, I voted for Seinfeld. Simply because it's probably the best show ever. If Red Dwarf was one of the choices, I'd vote for it, but mostly because it'd be a bit of an underdog.

I'd just like to say that I like the name of Katie's laptop. ;D

I never got to watch many episodes of Buffy, but the ones I did watch I always thought Xander was the best.

Between the sarcasm, the geek factor, and the being hot, I *totally* would've dated Xander.

You should borrow or rent the season dvds, they're great! Haha, we spent most of that second weekend in NYC watching way too much Buffy ;)

I watch them both religiously... Right now I'm on season 7 of Buffy and 4 of Angel, so no spoilers please 8)

My favorite funniest show would have to be "Whos Line Is It Anyway".  I don't watch much television, and this is the funniest one I watch.  My absolute favorite shows are the ones on A&E.  The shows about solving murders and CSI are the best to me. . . sounds a little creepy when you think about it.  a humourous serial killer. . . . you all know who to blame if someone is dead in a clown suite. . . .LOL just kidding.  I am too new to make jokes like that.

Arrested Development is by far the funniest show on televion. Also Seinfeld is the best show in syndication ;D
Arrested development quote
Michael: What comes before anything? What have we always said is the most important thing?
George Michael: Breakfast.
Michael: Family.
George Michael: Family, right. I thought you meant of the things you eat.

Seinfeld is probably the greatest comedy I've ever seen. I own the DVD's, etc, so I really enjoy the show. EVER episode is classic, so it's absolutely impossible to call my favorite, although someday I'll try to make a list.
