I have [spoiler]the lock from the scroll hint, and the lava lamp from the calming pool[/spoiler] but the [spoiler]scroll's hint on finding the key[/spoiler] is vague. All it said was [spoiler]an interruption by the NON-Wanda that the calming pool is where the key is hidden[/spoiler]. I do not see a key.
Look at the hint for the key again. Do you notice any patterns?
[spoiler]The names of the four maids start with the letters for the four compass points[/spoiler]
[spoiler]After following the directions, when you get to the interruption is where you want to dig.[/spoiler]

I hate to ask, but would someone mind transcribing the maid riddle? My scroll has gotten buggy, and won't let me change the page away from the ingredient list. I've tried everything I can to get it to reset, but the game is running precariously as it is, and I don't want to start over from scratch.

Yeah you haven't explored enough yet. Once you see this item you'll know to dig with it. It is also on the Isle of the Beast though.
well, i have the baton and lamp. Am i supposed to be able to get into the castle now. the maze doesn't seem to go there and i just thought a section would "open" up when it was possible
