Seriously, I boot up once, it kicks out an error that the BIOS clock is wrong, and sends me to the setup program to fix it. Then I give it the default settings, and it seems happy and lets me reboot. Until the next time I power cycle, that is. :P

The BIOS clock is probably wrong b/c its battery is dead. As long as it's got power from the computer when it's on, there's no problem, but when the power goes off, the time's gone. :-\

Grad school in Flanders costs a lot to (did and still does , my brother's now doing it), but our parents take care of that.

I like living in a small-ish apartment (although I wouldn't mind living in one that was somewhere a tad safer/quieter). I'd like one of those little electric-gas hybrid models for a car, and a new computer. Other than that... books, CDs, old computer games, and DVDs are pretty inexpensive for the most part. :D Barbershop shows are inexpensive... wouldn't want fancy clothes or jewelry... don't like fancy restaurants... would like a dishwasher, though. ;)
As for travel... seeing a Broadway musical and finally being able to go to one of the International Barbershop Conventions would make me happy.

racx, don't buy a pentium. They cost too much, and are slower(when they are at the same mhz level). Also, the Athlon64/FXs are faster than even the fastest pentium4(but few programs support it yet). Also, AMD(makers of the Athlons) keeps in touch with their customers better(except maybe the large companys). One more thing, the newest pentiums(not released yet) are based on the Athlon64s(they are paying AMD)!
I now have a P4P800 motherboard in a Micro Atx case (read: small!) with 2.8 GHz, 1 gig of RAM, a 160 gB hard drive, a 16x DVD drive / CD burner, and a 5900 FX Geforce video card. It's fast!!!
