Title: The 'guys lurving the girls'-thread
Post by: copycat on May 19, 2004, 03:52:59 PM
That's the best title I can come up with, for now. If you have any suggestion, I'll be happy to consider it.
Anyway, please direct compliments towards the girls in this thread now.
Let me start by saying I consider every girl/woman on this forum beautiful. :lovegoggles:

Ok I echo Bob's sentiment about all Women here being beautiful. You are beautiful..hehe anywayyyyy onto specifics!  :lovegoggles:

Lets start withhhhhh.....

Sayd!

Sayd is just one of those special people who are born once in everyfew million people. It'd be stupid to try and describe her in words as there just aren't the right ones available! (My downfall in lyric writing hehe). I LUBZ JOO!

Cat!

Cat is a very special and pwetty gal. She always looks to the bright side of everything and has startlingly strong values and (although she acts all innocent...) has a WICKED sense of humour!

Ummmm nexttttt....

KIMMMEHHH

Although I've known Kimmeh not very long it hasn't stopped us cackling like witches at each others stupidass faces we make in the webcams. And shades rule. She has a special way with words as some of you will see soon and is just awesomeness (Go UK WOOOOOOOO)

JEYSIEEE!

Ever since hearing "I'm a little Teapot" I've been captivated by Jeysie's voice! It is just so ...hmmm whats the word...I dunno lol but it suits her sense of humour perfectly (hehe "yayyy?....YAYYYYYYYYY!!") and she has a great smile to boot when she decides to show it off ;)

I would make alot more comments but I just haven't seen or talked enough to all the other women here :( I'll make it my goal to do so within the coming months and I'll try to encapsulate you in a few lines as I've done here. I bet you can't wait!! Yay. Finished.

Alex: The word you're looking for is probably "sardonic". ;)

I once had someone tell me my voice sounded like "one of those self-help relaxation tapes"... I guess that's a good thing? ;)

Peace & Luv, Liz

...but this post will be dedicated to the most special girl on this forum (at least in my eyes  :lovegoggles:)

Say!!  <3 <3

ahhhh, where do I start?? first of all she has a kickass personality!! she is uber intelligent and has great qualities!! she is the sweetest girl i know!! yay!  :lovegoggles:

she has pwetty hair (also when it is wet  :lovegoggles:) and eyes where i can get lost in. ahhhh and her smile!!  :lovegoggles: :lovegoggles: :lovegoggles: her smile can make me melt away and can cheer me up anytime  :lovegoggles:

in short, she is the best!! that is the best way I could describe her and still I feel that it doesn't do her justice cuz she is more then that!! <3 <3 *big smoochy*

there is a lot more to say, but it is not my intention to make this my last post in this thread!!  ;] ;] ;]

Well, this list in no particular order.
And if I leave anyone out, it means I'm a forgetful jerk.  Nothing else.

Storm:
Even though I haven't seen any close ups of you, I've seen you with your ex-boyfriend, the Snowman.  From that, I can tell you've got a wonderful smile and that you are most definitely a hottie.  From what interactions we've had, you're funny, witty, and kind.  And your snowman meets all the Canadian Snowman specs, and they're the toughest standards for snowmen in the world. :D

Jeysie:
Fellow perv, of the female persuasion.  That alone is enough to <3 you. ;)  But you're hilarious, fun, wacky, and very smart.  Even in our serious conversations, I still have fun talking to you.  (that's right folks, Jeysie and I were both serious....at the same time! :D)  You're also cute and have a distinctive style, making you a very unique catch.  Just KEEP SMILING.  You're cute to begin with, but that smile does wonders for you!  Oh yah, love your hair! :)

KatieHal:
Your picture of you biting your friend's head off....priceless.  And the "Dork" Avatar! :D  If you drink, and if we ever meet, we're going drinking! :D  You seem like so much fun!  And you've also got a wicked smile!  And you're hot....I remember back when I started I was looking at everyone in the Ugly Mug Thread....came by one of your pics...."Helllooooooo". ;)

Mango:
I'm actually talking to you online right now.  You're putting up with my whining and complaining.  Thus, you are wonderfully sweet.  And you seem like a ton of fun.  You're evidently wacky and silly, and that is a huge plus in my books!  I also know you're very pretty.  I LOOOOOVE the J2O picture....and I even find you attractive, even when you're thrusting a bowling ball at a video camera. :D  Aaaand, the accent.  DEEEEEELIGHTFUL!

Kimmie:
Yet another terribly wacky girl! :D  Too awesome!  Your bizarre webcam antics, your edited photos on here ( <3 KimmieCheese :D), and your wit make me laugh so much.  And you think I'm funny.  RAWR! ;)  And I always thought you were very pretty, but that last one in the garden...wow.  Made my heart stop and my eyes pop out.  Absolutely stunning.  Oh, to be 18 again and somehow live in England. :)

Say:
What can't I say about you?  You're the reason I'm here.  You amazed me from the first time we spoke.  You're kind, sweet, caring, as crazy (but not as pervy) as me, funny.  I don't know how many times I stayed late at work just to talk to you online.  I don't know how many times we've spent evenings  joking and both laughing our asses off.  And I can't leave out how smart and talented you are.  You make sure the wheels turn around here.  You rocked on your thesis.  Your artwork blows me away.  As for looking at you, it amazing me how I could ever stop.  You've got such wonderful and soulful eyes, hair that I want to steal :D, a smile that consumes my thoughts, and a mini-Dracula bite that I absolutely must kiss! :D <3  Oh yeah, you're also TALL....I <3 tall women...I mean, I totally have a serious weakness for tall women.  <3  You know, there's a reason we're such good friends...your complete beauty, throughout your soul, mind and body.  Question is, why do you even put up with someone so lowly as me? :)

Cat:
The sweetest thing on the forum.  So pure and innocent, but still with appreciation for some wicked wit and naughty people (ie: me. :D).  You too have been kind enough to put up with my whining and complaining....and your quest to make me smile more...well...makes me smile more. :D  Your cuteness, generosity, and loving sensibilities make your personality alone an almost mythical desire.  Add in your beauty....with your shy, yet inviting smile....then you are beyond belief.  You are too good to be real.  And your eyes....how you use them, my dear, is up to you....but I tell you now, they are a powerful tool.  Even with your "shameless flirting", you still managed to make me lose my breath as my jaw hit the floor.  Just with those big, brown eyes.  Any man who has your heart should count his blessings three times a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year...
*coughalexcoughluckybastardcough* :D

So, there you go.  If there's anyone I left out, I apologize for being a neglectful jerk.

I think everyone here is grand, and that should be clear as I keep coming back every day. :)

*NOTE: Post edited for format, not content.  I lubz you all!  <3

Ahh... I'm terrible at compliments, but I'll say this much, after I first apologize to all the ladies who are not included because -I- haven't spent time enough to get to know you or notice you...  sorry!

Kimmie:  One of my first contacts on the forums, she has swiftly grown into a good friend.  She's the only one I've actually seen a picture of... I'll have to read the picture thread one of these days!  -  Far too cute for her own good, she has a way of making me smile that I've been missing out on for a while.  Kimmie, you're great!

S... ah...  oh, great...  that's -real- good, me...

I don't know any of the ladies! [except Kimmie]

Guys, isn't that just sad?  heh...

aw, seriously, Jeysie...  I recall reading one of the music threads a time back... if I recall correctly, you're a bit crazy [which is an attribute I find rather appealing] and would have to be to put up with that roomate of yours...  And, thinking on it a little more - I've had a few minutes - I think both you [Jeysie] and Kimmie have quite beautiful voices...

Jeysie, to be honest... a slight bit of craziness without going into the truly insane is actually a prerequisite for those whom I date...  come to think of it, that's part of why I don't date too often... :)

As an addendum to all of this, let me just say this on the record...  Say is a cutie  :)

I don't know if you deny it out of habit or really don't consider yourself attractive, but I, for one, beg to differ...  you are a bonafide 'squishy girl' in my opinion.  It's an inside joke, but trust me, it's a compliment at the same time...  :D

It's probably the exact same thing I do.  Heh... I vehemently deny my 'cuteness' whenever my sister tries to convince me of it - sisters can be weird sometimes...  I've got a bit of experience with them though, as I've got four of them...

Seeing as nobody else took the initiative, I couldn't stand idly by and do nothing myself.
The most physically beautiful girls on this forum are Say and Kimmie (they are just stunning), the most psychologically beautiful girl is Jeysie.
BTW, my alcohol consumption is minimal, considering my weight, I can only consume one glass of wine per evening without getting caught for drunk driving. So if I can only dring one glass of wine, anything stronger is probably too much. :P

Hmm. I'll accept being psychologically beautiful ('cause I have to per the rules ;) ), but I think calling me "most" does a disservice to Koko. She far outshines me in intelligence, sweetness, innocence, and faithfulness (in every technical sense of that word).

/me tips her hat... well, would tip her hat if she owned one, that is.

OMG i forgot what biased means :'(

To be "biased" is to favour one side more than another.  So instead of being objective, you become subjective and your opinion is influenced by some other person or thing.

Anyway, that's my definition of it.  You could probably search some online dictionary if you want the formal definition.  XD

AFAIK, you can be subjective and not biased. Besides, sure, your opinion is based on your interactions with other people (in person, in writing, talking, ...) but your bias is still your own, and not some other person or thing. ;-D

Well, I was extending the fact that everything one learns is by some sort of influence/bias/learning through parents/peers/role models/media.  It's a fact because a newborn baby isn't capable of becoming an average everyday citizen if raised in complete isolation.

So even though being subjective is "particular to a given person; personal" or "existing only within the experiencer's mind", in order to experience or have an opinion on anything, you must learn or be influenced by some external force.

For example, racists aren't born racist.  They develop this bias towards a specific ethnic group by having their values influenced/biased in some way.  Their opinions about the ethnic group are subjective, but the bias was learned from some other person.  8)

Yes, you form your bias from other people, but once you express your bias, it comes from within. Besides, I hear many racist biases (my father is one of them, unfortunately. :() but I'm still no racist myself.

Well, I'm glad no missed notes were heard.  That's the one thing I try to avoid...but sometimes, people do such weird things with music (and I can usually follow the tune, even if it's the first time I've heard the song)...well, a few missed notes can't be helped :P

Well, I'm no good at tennis either, but I doubt I'll miss 99% of my serves, that is, as long as I don't have to follow professional tennis-rules. Especially the one where you have to serve the ball into a special 'field' on the court. You may be better than him, but to be good is another thing. BTW, I'm no good at singing either, myself, but I've noticed a lot can be done via editing. With some singers, if you compare them singing live and the recorded version, you can hear where they 'patched up' the singer's voice.

I'm not feeling particularly witty right now, but somehow I'm inpsired to post here.

I love all the ladies here because they all seem to have some common traits that make them wonderful.  These are:

-They are all smart
-They are all open minded
-They all have their own thoughts and share them
-They are sensative and caring
-They are all very beautiful, in the complete sense
-They all have wonderful smiles.
-They are all fun and entertaining
-They find me funny. :D

Again, my wit is not up to snuff today.....but the girls here are grand.  I mean, where else could I be pervy and hit on these ladies and not get my butt kicked?! :D

Well, if you mean LITERALLY, basically anywhere online. :P

Not really.  This seems like the only place I can do it without getting crap about it. :D

Wow, that makes me sound like I do it much more often than I really do.
I don't really hit on people online.  I just sorta be myself and if things start to get interesting, huzzah.

But I already know I can't develop an online relationship.  Something about me that won't let me get THAT close to consider myself in a relationship.  It could start online, but it's gotta be fortified in person.

Actually, we're planning on having a garden wedding in Bowral, that's where we both grew up and met.
Bowral is in the Southern Highlands, half way between Canberra and Sydney.
It's a rich little posh town... lots of celebs and stuff live there. ( population 15000 )
Celebs like,
Tony Locket,
Jimmie Barnes,
The group that sings "I'm just a teenage dirtbag baby" moved there,
Don Bradmen grew up there, learnt cricket there,
'The Twelth Man', thats the guy who pretends to be cricket commentators,
Peter Garret ( Lead singer of Midnight Oil, now a member for Labour in Sydney. ),
Paul Mercurio ( Strictly Ballroom, he actually came to one of my houses and was looking to buy it... but it was too expensive for him! lol )
hmmmm.... who else... well, tons of people...

But yeah, it's a nice little town, and usually a lot greener than the rest of australia!   :D

Yeah, nothing personal, but I'll un-invite myself to the wedding.

Why?

Because when they say, "Does anyone think that these two should not be joined in holy matrimony..."

Well, I'll be like, "I DON'T THEY THEY SHOULD BE MARRIED!"

"Why, sir?"

"Uh...because she's hot and I'm jealous..."
*blink blink*

(chuckles at Grundy)

I don't have a problem with the religious aspect of Catholic weddings (although being an Agnostic at a religious function is always a bit awkward)... it's the LENGTH of the things that kills me. I mean, I know it's a big day and happy festivities and all, but 2+ hours of wedding ceremony-ness is a tad much for me.

Peace & Luv, Liz

See, the money isn't that big a problem, especially not in 2 years, but the schedule allowing it is another matter. Ofcourse, if Liz should express a desire to go, and wouldn't mind me joing her, (if schedule permits), I'd be happy to oblige (and finance too). :lovegoggles: I have absolutely no idea what I'll be doing in two years from now. Ofcourse, no surprise there, since I'm working for the government, and we're fusing, something completely un-common in those surroundings. Yes,  most probably I'll still be working at/for the same company I'm working for now. Yes, most probably it will still be a function in the financial department but further than that, I can only guess. I've not been to Catholic weddings for a time now (none of myRL- friends (the few that I have) marry that way), and seeing as how my memory is like Swiss Cheese, I have no idea of the length. However, of what I do remember of Catholic gatherings in church, one thing is definitely the length of it.

Well, ya'll haven't been to a Baptist wedding have you??  One of the girls I worked with...from the time she walked down the aisle until she and her husband were pronounced "husband and wife"...15 minutes!  Most Baptist weddings will be done in 30-45 minutes, depending on whether the vows are traditional or not, how much music, etc.

Drive-thru funerals. I kind of like that idea. Stick me in the ground quick-like, and have everyone instead go toast me and trade embarrassing stories about me in some local restaurant with cheap but good food and cool desserts. Plus points if everyone wears comfy clothes. They can keep the limo idea, though... ...after all, the only three times you can really justify riding in a limo if you're a poor nobody is getting to your senior prom, getting to your wedding, and getting to a funeral.

I've done a bit of overseas travelling, but not much - USA mostly. As much as I make fun of Aus, really, I love it with a passion. I can't think of one single place I'd rather live. I think we do have that something truly unique that I love. And if Aus is smoke-free compared to Europe, I don't think I'm too keen on visiting :P. The Germans especially have no idea of the concept of 'Non-Smoking'.
It's absolutely painful, you can't breathe at all!
:X

Think about it, only about 5-10% of aussies smoke now... and we are one of the most healthy countries in the world regarding cigarettes.
Now, Germany, 60% of teenagers alone smoke!  :o

You just can't escape it! When I came home, it was the first thing i noticed, no smoke... and I can actually still count how many I've smelt since returning almost 6 months ago. :)

They've recently made an No Smoking bylaw in Canada (or maybe it's just Ontario).  You're now not allowed to smoke inside a public building, and are only permitted to in designated smoking areas.

It probably did some damage to bars, but as a non-smoker, I love going out and not reaking of cigarette smoke when I get back.  8)
Title: Re:The 'guys lurving the girls'-thread

Hehe, well most bars & pubs have outdoor patios, so smokers should be going there if they want to smoke anyway.  They're just fussing because it's "inconvenient" for them, especially in the Winter! :suffer:

I went to a club a few weeks ago where the top floor was like a smoking area.  It had its own bartender, 4 windows, couches and a doorway to a platform leading outside too.  It was really nice, even being a non-smoker there, the air was clean and cool.  :)

Neil:  That bylaw is in Ontario only, even though there are several provinces and/or municipalities following suit.  Edmonton is looking to have a similar plan.  Calgary, you can still smoke in pubs/bars, but you CANNOT smoke on the pub/bar patio.  How messed up is that?
It's really weird watching your friends go nab a table inside for a cancer-stick. Especially if you have smokers walking by on the sidewalk. :D

Apparently they just passed a no-smoking law here in MA to ban smoking in all malls, restaurants, bars, stores, offices, etc. I think it used to be a choice on the part of the owner before (most owners already did so, anyway).

I just wish they'd pass a law against smoking in public places *period*. I hate it when I get stuck having to wait at the bus station, because it seems like 75% of the people outside at the "dock" waiting for the bus are smoking. (There's no smoking inside the station, but obviously that does jack for when the bus is about to arrive and you have to be there waiting to board it!) I hate it.

I'm not usually the sort of person to force people to take care of themselves... I have sort of a general "Hey, if you want to harm yourself, it's your choice." attitude. Unfortunately, when you smoke, you end up poisoning everyone else around you, too. Now, if they could invent a way to make it so that smokers are the only ones inhaling their smoke, I'd say, sure, let them smoke wherever they want.

But when *I'm* also forced to breathe in their smoke, that's a whole other ball of wax. And when it's allowed at places like outside the public bus terminal, it's sometimes impossible to get away from.

Peace & Luv, Liz

Calgary, you can still smoke in pubs/bars, but you CANNOT smoke on the pub/bar patio.  How messed up is that?
Hehe, nah that makes sense cuz it would be disgusting for people walking by.  Actually now that I think of it, there are probably certain areas of patios reserved for smokers too, because whenever I walked through the market area in Ottawa it was rare that I'd ever see (or smell) people's smoke.

Can't go wrong down here!

Where have you been in the US(or are you referring to something else)?
Clean air, depends on where you are.
Blue skies, again, depends on where you are
Gun free, depends on where you are.(if you're worried about guns, keep out of the Southern US)
Low unemployment, depends on where you are.
Great local food, I've heard the food isn't great in the northern US(on average), but where I'm from, it's great. As far as the rest of the US goes, I have no idea.
Unique culture? Ever been to Hawaii, Alaska, Louisiana,  Texas, California, Oklahoma, or New England?

Low unemployment, well, I didn't say it was a problem in the US, I just said that WE are doing pretty well.  ;)

For food and wine, Australia now outsells French wines in Britain and the US... ;)  ANd our local produce is top quality, we export beef and sheep etc to the US, Japan, England... goto your local supermarket and you will probably find Australian meats there.

Also, I never said the US didn't have a culture, I just said WE have a unique and special one.
If you want to compare, we are a mix of european/americanised culture, minus a lot of the downsides from those two.   :D

Also, I think I'm well traveled enough to have a valid opinion on the topic.
I was born in England afterall, lived there for a few years, spent most of my life here in Australia.
Liveed in Europe for a few months going from France/Switzerland/Austria/Germany/Netherlands/Belgium...  ;) Gone through the US to those few places I mentioned and I have visited many asian cities too.

One day, not long ago, Boudreaux was fish'n down by de bayou when he run outta night crawlers. He was 'bout to leave when he seed a snake wit a toad frog in hits mouth. Now Boudreaux he knowed dem big bass fish like toad frogs, so he decided to steal that froggie. Trouble was dat snake be a cotton mouth water moccasin; he'd have to be real careful like or he'd git bit.

Boudreaux snuk up behind the snake and grabbed him round the haid. That ole snake di'nt like dis one bit. He commemced to squirm'n and wrapped hitself around Boudreaux's arm try'n to get free, but Boudreaux, him had a real good grip. He pried dat snake's mouth open and got de frog and dropped it in his bait can. Now, Boudreaux he knows cain't let go of de snake or hit's goin' ta bite him good.

Hit's all right, dat smart Boudreaux him had a plan. He reached into the back pocket of'n his bib over-hauls and pulls out a pint o' moonshine likker and pours a couple of draps inta the snake's mouth.

Dat snake's eyeballs roll back in hits head and hits body go limp! Wit dat Boudreaux toss's dat snake inta da crick and goes back tuh fish'n.

A while later Boudreau dun feel sumptin tapp'n on his barefoot toe. He slowly look down. Would you believe it? Dere be dat water mocassin, but dis time he gat two toad frogs in his mouth!

Oddly, Australia is one of the few nations that I'd care to visit. The Americas and Australia, are probably the only places that I'd consider staying at, for more than a week.

That I'd like to go over an ocean to get there, says something about how great it is.

If you ever do make it down here, don't visit Canberra, my city. It's the capitol of Australia, but there's not much here.

In summer, it's too hot, in winter it's too cold, and it's usually dry, desolate and boring! LOL!

Ofcourse, goto Sydney, Melbourne and visit the other greener areas and the deserts...   ;)

Sydney is the only place you named, that I know anything about. Like I said on another thread, I'm not much of a tourist. If I decided to go somewhere over the ocean, I'd probably want to stay there for a while. In other words, I'd probably get a job over there. Which causes another interesting problem, taxes.
Title: Re:The 'guys lurving the girls'-thread

Taxes are pretty reasonable here.
And you can get a working visa pretty quickly if you want to get a job here.

I just did my tax return yesterday actually!
( The financial year is over. )

I will be getting just over $1000 back! WOO!

I love tax return time...   ;D
Title: Re:The 'guys lurving the girls'-thread

That's not what I meant. I wouldn't know who to pay taxes to. I'm guessing both, but I wouldn't know how much to give each.

Like I said, I've never been outside the Southern US. So the taxes confuse me.

P.S. I wonder what the new thread's going to be called.

You pay taxes to the US government for money you earn in the US, and you pay taxes to the Aussie gov. for money you would earn here, unless you skip back to the US before tax time comes...  :)
( Employers here take out tax automatically, so if anything, you will get tax BACK if you only work here for a few months of so. )

I've never been outside the Southern US(very different from the average, though I think most people would say that about where they live also), so my view of the US is limited.

I agree, most people would say that about their part of the US, because it's true. Each region/state of the US has its own unique culture... heck, even different parts of a *single* state have different cultures. ("Upstate" NY vs. NYC, Western MA vs. Eastern MA, I've heard Western and Eastern WA are very different, etc.)

Quote from: Louisiana Night on July 15, 2004, 12:31:09 AMBy culture, I was just saying we(Americans) have very different cultures.

I think it's a matter of... there isn't really any distinct *US* culture as a whole... rather we're an odd hodge-podge of many different cultures.

Think about it, only about 5-10% of aussies smoke now... and we are one of the most healthy countries in the world regarding cigarettes.
Now, Germany, 60% of teenagers alone smoke!  :o
Ahem, excuse me, but the EU does not consist of Germany alone, there's actually 24 other countries besides them and I can testify that our air is not polluted by smokers.

I am well aware of that, I was born in england, have returned many times. I've also spent a lot of time on mainland Europe.
I was just using Germany as an extreme example of liberal smoking laws.

And yes, your air isn't Polluted my smokers, but it's an annoyance and health risk to anyone else who's in the vecinity.
Actually, one thing I noticed about europe was the huge layer of smog always hanging in the sky.  ;P
About 1% of that would be smokers, well, maybe even .01%...  but still, it was noticeable, the ammount of smokers there.

Otherwise, I'm not trying to overly criticise Europe, on the contrary! I loved it!
My favourite place was Interlaken in Switzerland. I went paragliding through the alps, walking over mountains... great fun!
And the cute little French villiages, Annecy was gorgeous, and Lyon, though large, was a great city!

In Louisiana, descendents of the French-Canadians live in the south, descendents of the British(England, Ireland, Scotland, I don't know about Wales) live up north. So Louisiana has two extremely different  cultures.

If I was dating anyone else, I surely wouldn't be flirting with you. :lovegoggles: <3
Me focusing my attention on someone else is not the same as dating. I'm not even to the part where I'm flirting with her! You'd think she'd get the point with me hovering around her most of the time, but she doesn't budge. So would you be so kind as to drop that false accusation? ;] And besides, can't I even look at other beautiful women anymore?

Quote from: Say on July 16, 2004, 08:31:58 AMOK, hope everyone GOT THE SUBTLE HINT

A teensy hint, CC... generally in order to let a lady know you're interested in her, you have to do more than just hover about her. ;) Actually talking to her would be a good start, especially if you include a few small compliments in there.

Now, if you had flirted and approached her with your feelings towards her, and she had rebuffed you, then I could understand you feeling the relationship wouldn't get anywhere. But as much as some of us may like to pretend otherwise (raises hand), women are not mind-readers. ;)

Quote from: copycat on July 16, 2004, 03:51:43 PMSo would you be so kind as to drop that false accusation? ;] And besides, can't I even look at other beautiful women anymore?

I was only friendly teasing you, hon... (pats) Since you and I are not dating, you can look at beautiful women all you like. (Actually, even if we were dating, you could look at and even interact with beautiful women all you liked; I only would take offense if you flirted or otherwise interacted in a *romantic* manner with them. But that's neither here nor there.)

Besides, I would be pleased if you found a Belgian lady to date, because I don't like seeing people lonely!

As for staying on-topic... I don't randomly go off-topic in threads out of the blue, but if someone makes a comment I desire to reply to, I do, even if maybe the comment I'm replying to doesn't concern the original topic. So I might sometimes go technically off-topic, but my replies are at least always based on the previous flow of comments. No different than most "normal" conversations, really.

Besides, if people want to get back to or reply to the original topic, they usually do of their own accord... I sometimes get threads "back on track" myself. (shrug) I just go with the flow! (Now, if somebody *does* randomly take a thread off-topic without any reasonable logical relation to a previous comment, that kind of bugs me, unless the thread is designed for that sort of thing.)

Peace & Luv, Liz

HOLD ON!  At least I said she was a queen so she actually had *some* authority!  I mean, clearly she's very dominant and strong!  Thus, queen, not princess.  Adjectives (i.e.e bondage, gorgeous, etc) aren't important (in this case....>shifty eyes<).
I mean, she IS gorgeous, but if I get *too* complimentary Matteo, er Michael, might not like it. ;P

Well, truth be told, I don't particularly desire to go overseas. Not that I have anything against the fair (or dark, or orange-with-green-polka-dots) lands over the blue yonder... just that I'm spoiled with being used to American culture, and there's plenty of stuff here in the US to keep a person entertained in their lifetime without inviting excess travel troubles. Plus, there are plenty of culture troubles to get into here as well, which I mildly discovered in NYC. :P

And I'm a homebody. Travel doesn't interest me much, aside from a small few desired places to visit someday.

I've been to NYC multiple time, Jeysie.  I can't believe you thought it was lonely and empty feeling, I thought it was bursting with energy.  I really enjoy that place, and I jump at every opportunity I get to go there.

Post by: Jeysie on July 30, 2004, 03:43:38 PM
Heh. Well, admittedly, I went on a freakin' cold weekend. But still... I dunno. I'm used to living in places where you greet passerby on the street and strike up conversations with clerks and bus drivers and everything. It was kind of lonely being in a place where everyone seems to keep to themselves while out and about... if only because there's just too many people to deal with otherwise. It was also kind of sad to be in a place where a stranger you greet on an elevator just to be friendly thinks you're trying to sell them something. :P (Though I quickly found out why the fellow thought that.)

And I'll say this about Times Square... at least it had some color. Every other block in the city looked the same to me... just a general dull mishmash of stores and commercial buildings. Perhaps I just got stuck walking around the wrong parts of the city.

Maybe it's different in the summertime, too... I'll find out soon enough. :)

I don't think it's just NYC that's like that.  Any metropolitan downtown area is similar.  Heh, even universities are like that when they have huge amounts of students.  It's not really about standoffish people, it's more that there's so many you encounter that you don't have time to chat or even be courteous (though, I'm always courteous with people, I just don't chat with them :P).

I don't exactly live in a rural small town area though, so I've never had passerby's on the street talk about anything but directions to a place.  Some clerks are friendly, but most will only engage in conversation if you initiate it.

Oh, and any place you go to in the blistering cold of winter will be filled with cold people.  Weather tends to affect people's moods.  ;D
Title: Re:The 'guys lurving the girls'-thread
Post by: Jeysie on July 30, 2004, 04:01:10 PM
I didn't mean to imply I thought NYC people were stand-offish... just as I said, I know when there's so many people about, you could never hope to deal with being friendly to that many folk, even if you wanted to. And yeah, I figured it's like that in any large enough city/community. Still just not the sort of place I feel comfortable.

I've never lived in a strictly rural area... but Pittsfield is a small city in the middle of a rural area, and Springfield is a small-medium-sized city in the middle of small cities. And you wonder why I said in another thread that I wasn't sure if I'd get along anywhere else, even though I'm not entirely happy here. ;P

I love huge, crowded and crazy cities! XD  There's always something to do, something to see, somewhere to go.  I'm the kind of person that would love to get lost in a mob of people.  ;D  I don't like too crowded places where people are stagnant and literally touching you with their sweaty arms :X, but places where there's people moving and stuff is fine for me.

But that's walking.  Driving, I prefer places that are empty and picturesque.  ;D  I actually hate driving through downtown cores because of the huge amounts of people walking everywhere and not obeying signs, and because of all the one way streets.  ;P

Aye. The problem is, there's really kind of nothing in the Springfield area worth vacationing about.

If you drive an hour and a half west, you get to the Berkshires, which has a lot of fun touristy stuff. If you drive about a half-hour, um, in some direction, you get Agawam, which has Riverside the Six Flags New England amusement park. About two hours east is Boston, which is an interesting city, the least of which reason being that Katie lives out that way. ;) Finally, somewhere in the three hour range west and south is Cape Cod.

But here in Springfield? Well, there's the Basketball Hall of Fame... which I've never really been to, and don't particularly care about. There's the Springfield Symphony, which in four years has only had one show I wanted to go to, and has lousy temperature control and sound quality... Tanglewood in the Berkshires is better, IMHO. There's the Springfield Civic Center, which is only good if you like seeing basketball and hockey games in person. (Don't mind watching hockey on TV, but I don't feel a desire to see a game live.) Finally, there's a ton of nightclubs, which I also have no desire to visit. (In fact, there's one nightclub here that, based on the "events" it advertises, I'm sorry I even have to walk past it.)

So, yeah. Vacationing in the Springfield area is lame. :P

Quote from: copycat on July 30, 2004, 06:05:02 PMHow do you know you have random dreams if you don't remember most of them?

I'm pretty sure it's located either west, east, south or north, but not 'some' direction, unless it doesn't matter in which way you drive, you always arrive at the same spot, but I doubt it. ::) Anyway, there's a Six Flags in Belgium too, although I heard some time ago Six Flags was putting its Belgian theme park for sale. I don't know if any other company has acquired it yet, but I doubt that it can keep its (Six Flags) name once its ownership has been transferred.

If a Belarussian child of seven can learn Flemish in less than 8 months (2 months/year at that, the rest of the time she's in Belarussia), surely it can't be that hard? And whilst English might not be a national language, you'd be surprised how many Flemish people know some of it. After all, knowing multiple languages is one of the Flemish people's assets.

I like NYC.  The Metropolitian Museum of Art has Monet who was an impressionist painter who I like.  The Natural History Museum is cool with the dinosaur skeletons.  Central Park is awesome!  It is a great place to bike ride.  In my opinion the only downsides to the city is that it is crowded and expensive.  If you have lots of money then it certainly is a nice place to live.  The rest of us should at least visit it once.  :>

Dallas is about as large a city, as I care to enter. I don't even care to go to New Orleans(whether or not it has a larger population, I don't know).

I know!  I enjoy the small town feel (with larger towns within about a thirty minute drive!)  I don't like driving through a big city.  I guess I just don't like feeling crowded when I drive.

I've never driven through a big city yet (by myself). I've been driven through a big city. Anyway, it's not that I dislike driving through crowded traffic, as long as I knew which way I need to go, it's just that I'm terrible at finding directions. So, if I were to drive to a big city, I'd most certainly get lost. That's why I use public transport whenever I have to go there, and luckily, the few times I do, my destination isn't too far away from a railroad station. 8)
But, I'm digressing aren't I (and I already said I woulld never post a complete off-topic post in a thread so...)?
Let's see,Liz knows (about) technology, she doesn't like living in a large city either, she has a great voice, her hair is not (too) short for me, so, at least for the moment, I'm not going to stop and :lovegoggles: you.

Yesterday afternoon, I mailed Liz's pictures to two completely unbiased colleagues of mine, who never even knew who she was until yesterday noon. So, you can't say I've influenced them in any way. And they both complimented me on her beauty, and on my good taste.
They're also planning my trip to Springfield, MA. The only problem is: I'm not planning a trip there (yet)!
So in short, let's see, beautiful girl on the outside, beautiful girl on the inside, it's going to be hard for me to get rid of this.  :smitten: :flirt:

Hee! I found this thread before I noticed that little new number sitting at the top of my screen, actually, Koko. Thanks for the thought anyway, though. ;)

CC: I still don't know why you'd want to come to Springfield (seeing as how I would very much love to *leave* it :P ), but I guess it's still your choice!

You could always see if NYC wins the 2012 Summer Olympics bid, and then use that as an excuse! ;-D (I know I'd find *some* way to go to at least one event myself if that happened, that's for sure.)

And personally I think your friends are just being nice to you. Of course, I haven't posted any pics of how I look from the neck down, either.

Trust me, the way one of them talked, he was not just 'being nice'. I think you've posted at least one picture of you, neck down, but I don't have that one anywhere on any HD.

To clarify a few things, it were not the ones I mailed the photos to last, that were planning my trip, but the ones I keep up-to-date via little comments I attach to accountancy news every day. They were the ones who asked for a picture of Liz, because they read so much about her in those little comments. The two last ones don't have that 'luxury'.

The problem now is, that they won't give up on the idea of me moving to Springfield, MA, and thus occasionally drop a link to that if they're talking about something overhere.

Quote from: Jeysie on August 19, 2004, 03:24:20 PMou could always see if NYC wins the 2012 Summer Olympics bid
Strange, I thought that was already decided. Anyways, the previous Flemish government had the brilliant idea of bidding for the 2016 Olympics in Flanders. The only problem with that is: a) the Olympics have to be in a city, not a region and b) there's not enough space (left). And that's not talking about money matters.

XD Oh, geez, tell them you'd be nuts to Springfield. That's not me being self-depreciating... this place totally blows chunks. :X

And I did post a full-body pic of me, somewhere in the Ugly Mug Thread. it's a far away one, though... I should post a closer-up one so you can all get a good sense of my wideness. (I know I have one picture in my collection I should burn because I look like a whale. Too bad plastic smells. :P )

And no, the 2012 bid hasn't been decided yet. Next summer, they'll announce it. I'm selfish enough to hope the NYC bid makes it, because the only way I'd feasibly be able to attend an Olympics is if it was in the Northeast(ish) US, or in Michigan. There really aren't any other cities besides NYC in Northeast US that would be worth a successful bid, and nobody wants an Olympics in Detroit. :X

They need to not have the Olympics in urban areas--it messes everything up.  It would be smarter to have them in rural areas.

Excuse me, but we have an indoor ski venue in our little rural area. :pleased:

And even if they did go through with it (which is not, since we just had elections and now they have to start all over again, studying), I wouldn't want the Olympics to come to Flanders. Since we lack infrastructure, that'd mean we'd have to sacrifice open space to infrastructure and as environmentally friendly person I wouldn't want that.

What do you consider 'decent neighbors'? I'd also like to know how much snow you'd like, in days/year if possible. And, BTW, neighbors are most of the time not 'for life', so at one time you might have very good neighbors, and at another bad neighbors.
Anyway, luckily, (at my request) my colleagues seem to have toned down a bit on the me moving to Springfield, MA. ANd ofcourse I told them you didn't want to stay in Springfield, and move if possible. However, if you want to move, surely you must have an area in mind? :flirt:

At the bare minimum, neighbors that don't make a lot of noise, don't break or ruin stuff, and that I would be OK with happening to pass by in the hallway/on the street. My noisy neighbors finally stopped making trouble after Harrison and I complained to the landlord, but considering all the ickiness before then I still feel awkward on the rare occasions I encounter them. :P

Of course, friendly, helpful neighbors would be even nicer, but I'll settle for decent neighbors.

Quote from: copycat on September 02, 2004, 03:10:09 PMI'd also like to know how much snow you'd like, in days/year if possible.

Preferably none. :P However... it's not so much a duration thing, but an amount thing. If the snow never got more than an inch or two, I could tolerate it all winter. It would be nice if winter lasted less than six months, however. :P

Quote from: copycat on September 02, 2004, 03:10:09 PMHowever, if you want to move, surely you must have an area in mind? :flirt:

Well, let's see. Harrison originally got Virginia into his head. However, he took a road trip down there, and came back saying it was a no-go. (I tried telling him that before he went down there, but he doesn't listen to me.) Now he has his eyes on Pennsylvania, which sounds like a much more reasonable choice to me. Unfortunately neither of us has the money to take a scoping-out trip, and since Harrison has already used up his week of vacation for the year, we don't have the time either.

The main problem is that I haven't spent extensive amounts of time in very many places in the country, and none of the places I have been to strike me as anywhere I'd want to live. :P

Hmm, I've never used a ruler to measure the height of the snow, and I'm useless at guessing it, so I wouldn't know how high it gets here. However, I'll still need a fair amount of snow to build a snowman. ;D How do you define 'winter'?

Pennsylvania... 64 F2... that's closer than Virginia. Why is it much more reasonable? Only one week vacation/year? :o

Does saying 'hi' or nodding to people you don't know when passing them by also count?

So, my current itinerary now would be: fly to Boston, MA, rent a car, drive to Springfield, MA, pick up Liz, drive to Pennsylvania (or is flying there easier? in which case I'd drive right back to the airport.) and scope it out. :smitten:

Well, an inch or two would be just enough to cover the soles of a boot, more or less. Essentially, I don't want enough snow to make walking or driving around a hassle. :P

Around these parts, 3+ feet (1+ meter) of snow or more (usually a lot more) isn't uncommon. I remember as a youngster having to step carefully about snow drifts that could just about bury a wee one. :P

And I define winter as when the temperature is consistently below ~40 degrees Fahrenheit (~5 degrees Celsius)... i.e. when it's pretty much cold enough to always need your winter jacket. Of course, winter here in MA tends to get a LOT colder than that. :P

Quote from: copycat on September 03, 2004, 03:36:21 PMPennsylvania... 64 F2... that's closer than Virginia. Why is it much more reasonable? Only one week vacation/year? :o

More reasonable for a number of reasons... such as a good chunk of Virginia being Booniesville, and thus Pennsylvania seeming to have more job & leisure options.

And yes, only one week vacation/per year, which is pretty standard unless you're a major higher-up. I know you European folks get tons of vacation/per year. ;P

Actually, I don't think I'm going to get any vacation this year... at least, not in terms of a continuous chunk of time off. I don't think I've earned any paid vacation hours yet, and I only take unpaid when I need to. (For obvious reasons. :P )

Erm. By close to civilization, I guess I pretty much mean *in* civilization. Like, a 30-minute *walk* to some kind of commercial area. (Not necessarily a big one, just a small plaza or something would be OK. Nah, it can be up to an hour walk for a big commercial area. ;) ) One of the few things I miss about my hometown is the fact you could feasibly walk to almost every part of the city worth going to. Heck, I don't know how Harrison even *sees* when there's a lot of snow. :P

Walking through a lot of snow is a major pain in the butt. There's been many a time where I've been forced to literally crawl and climb on my hands and knees to travel along a sidewalk or snowdrift... and also more than a few occasions where I've managed to sink in up to my knees or higher while walking. Not my idea of fun... especially if I'm trying to get to or from work. :P

Heck, I don't know how Harrison even *sees* when there's a lot of snow. :P
When visiting Floriday several years back, at one time there was a lot of rain coming down and (I was driving) my mom (who was in the seat besides me), told me to stop, but I could still see enough. 8)

Quote from: Jeysie on September 03, 2004, 05:36:10 PMWell, we'd still need hotel rooms (I said rooms plural, for any of you fellow pervy folk out there), dearie. It takes more than a single day to scope out an area... (not to mention that the drive is long enough that only going for a day would violate the Liz Rule of Travel). And there's also meals, of course. And potential tourist traps and souvenirs... And no, I don't let anyone pay for stuff like that for me.
No room with two seperate beds? It's cheaper that way. ;B
Tourist traps are there for tourists, not for people scouting out the area. ;) And don't worry about me paying, you can pay me back once you get a proper job there. :lovegoggles:

And we go back in time... to mid-september 1996, when I realized I needed a car to drive to and from work every day, but did not have enough money at hand. So, my parents 'loaned' me the money at a zero-intrest rate, and I payed them back in pieces afterwards. So, if you think you've got a better chance to get a good job overthere, we can apply the same scheme. :lovegoggles:

I have a few words to say about Cat :P:

Although you may say that you are over weight and that you have yucky hips, i will never be able to agree with you because to me you are a very beautiful person with a heart of gold. You are always energetic, sweet, kind, caring and loving. Please dont change Cat because you are perfect the way you are. :D

Anyhoo. To avoid straying off the subject again...

I appreciate the offer, CC, but I strongly prefer not to take gifts from people, and I only accept loans when I am 99% sure I can pay them back... which means I generally either don't accept them, or I only accept them as an extremely short-term matter.

Just to set the record firmly and pedantically crooked, I borrow from Wikipedia:

QuoteId est (i.e.)
"That is (to say)", abbreviated as "i.e." - sometimes "in this case," depending on the context. When celebrating this holiday (i.e. Christmas), hang a wreath on your door. It is not equivalent to "e.g.", in any context.

QuoteExempli gratia (e.g.)
"For the sake of example", "for example."

I know Jeysie was being nice and everything, and Bob probaby didn't mean it in a bad way, but guys leave me out of your crap once and for all, all of you, it is f***ing getting old and Im so freaking sick of your stupidity about the "outer" and "inner" beauty subject when it comes to me, I don't give a crap wether you mean to tick me off or whichever I'm always brought in or put into those kind of situations, Im so sick with the emphasis of "outer" on my case, sometimes makes me think you kind of have a problem at some point, because it shocks me how much it's usually brought up even when I'm not directly part of a conversation.

This is a personal stuff towards me, and it does not praise me, neither amuses me, so, if you don't get the hint by now, then... flash news for you -> that's why I took myself out of the list, get the point? no? ok then I hope you just read what I said. Flirt among yourselves, stalk each other, do whatever we always allow you to get along with around here, but stop putting me on the spotlight as such.

Get someone else to measure or compare or whatever ppl with and leave ME out of it, I have absolutly nothing to do personally with any of you, neither I care if you like me or not, so please, keep my "outer" and "inner" beauty are no longer part of your discussions around this forum.

I'm not mad at Jeysie or Bob, I just want to be left alone on that matter, please.

No such thing as "too easy".

"Too easy" is a statement for people who don't like efficency.  Like going for groceries in a huge SUV, geting twenty bags of groceries, and taking one bag at a time back home. :D

Luckily I don't have a big SUV, and I don't get twenty bags of groceries at one time. Furthermore, it's much more energy-efficient if you go there by bike and put those bags in your bike-pouches. (?) I admit you can't put twenty bags of groceries in them, but then again, you shouldn't wait that long before returning so you have to get 20 bags. 8)
BTW, I only flirt with one woman at a time. Currently I'm flirtless.

I also have a flirting recipient that flirts back, but I want it to be more than flirting and I'm almost certain she doesn't want me.  It's not good for my health either. :S

I've had better experiences with attractive cashiers than waitresses. Which is kinda weird considering that you see them less frequently, unless you shop at the same stores a lot.

As to add to that comment, not only girls are fake :P and not all the girls are the same, I believe some of us (like me, lol) are actually mean and don't even smile back or care for strangers jokes :P I've got told that at work before, I'm mean with strangers who actually try to flirt with me without knowing me, to me that seems fake... ask Michael how long he was trying to make me believe the things he said to me :P

When I first met James, he wasn't really flirty (from my point of view), he was actually REALLY nice a guy and his jokes were true jokes, not really cheesy stupid pick up lines that men think some women are as retarded as to fall for them... :P

I think I had a point somewhere in there... lol :P

Say,

In my own defense, I didn't qualify my statement very well at all [the whole 'girls are good at fake laughs' thing] - in no way did I mean to sound biased or bitter...  I'd be the first to admit that I [and the rest of my gender] have faults - we're kind of a double edged species though, aren't we?  :D

If you felt that you were put on the defensive in -any- way, I honestly did not mean it that way, and I apologize for any such offense...  I realized that some of my earlier statements did not factor in both sides of the argument.  This may not all apply and I may be making something of a fool of myself for overreacting and reading too much into your statement, but I would feel bad if anyone took any undue offense at something I said in a moment of stupidity.

I think I have way too many of those.

hahaha no no it's fine!, don't feel bad nathan! I just wanted to add my two cents on that matter, it's ok, I know I'm meanieh not fake :P so it doesn't even relates to a personal level to me :P

In fact, to be honest, that's why I made that statement at the beggining of my comment, not only girls are fake as in, (I probably shouldn't say this here lol) some of my co.workers (not kq9 related) are like that a lot, they laugh at stuff and such, and then when the person leaves the room then they start sharing weird mean comments with me, I don't understand but I just let it go :D it doesn't bothers me at all, it's just interesting how some would rather be that way sometimes? oh well...

And the following thing I mentioned about it was a personal comment I guess, that I would rather be mean than be hypocrite, and the truth is that has got me in troubles too many times :P because when mean is mean or giving out bad commentary to me or someone else at work, I just stay quiet if I don't have anything good to say at that moment, but if they push it I will say how I disliked that, and not many people can really handle that in person.

So don't feel bad! :D I was just getting myself into the conversation ;)

I suppose I try to play the peacemaker pretty often; my naivety is my biggest flaw and gift at the same time...  but I have to agree with you, being honest [in your case, 'mean' ;D] is far better than being hypocritical...  Rumors are a poison, one that I've had the unfortunate luck of being the target and recipient of a [thankfully] small number of times...

People just don't know how to handle someone telling them that their actions are unacceptable - it's automatic defense mode.  In my opinion, we all want to be right and it takes a good deal of humility to set aside personal dictates and accept criticism.  Speaking your mind doesn't make you mean, just honest...  it's if you're also slandering a person, intentions irrelevant, that makes you 'mean'.  Are you 'mean' Say?   ;)

Being forward and being honest and being critical (as well as wanting to be right) are completly different things, I may not be right but I can be forward, I may not critice anything but I don't have to accept it either (or share it) as well as you can be forward about something and that wouldn't make you right nor honest.

Example, I won't tell anyone I don't like him I just won't comment about it, but I won't go telling that person that I like him if I just don't, either way I find it wrong, and I've seen that at work sooo many times, from students that tell me that they like me and I just simply can't believe it (they don't seem honest yet very forward about it) as well as students that may do like me and not say it (they do show they enjoy being with me but they aren't forward about it) as well as I don't agree with some of my colleagues when they tell students they are doing ok, and then while we talk tell me that person is horrible and simply NOT doing ok... those things are like wrong, so in different cases it all matters from where you stand I guess, but the fact they do it, or seem to do it to me, would mean that I have to accept it or share it, or enjoy it or whatever, I just simply let it go but if it comes to a moment I have to make a stand I have before, simply cuz I can't smile while someone tells me something mean or the fact that they expect me to do it too sometimes.

Quote from: Tolin on October 09, 2004, 02:57:28 AM

When you have no touch to say things as in, you don't care for that person, or you simply don't want to have touch or be nice with that person, then yes, you can call me mean I guess, as in sometimes I don't care if they bash over students behind their backs, or if they plot crap about random stuff, or if students hate me or such... I'm not supposed to like them but I'm not supposed to take their crap either, so sometimes I do lose touch because I simply choose not to care.

Personally, I do think I'm mean, because Im forward and sometimes blunt, but truth is... I don't really believe I'm always right.

Heh...  I wasn't looking at the distinctions between those three [forward, honest, critical] before - I agree with you about their differences, and I see how my statement doesn't reflect that very much at all.  I won't give an example as you did a wonderful job in doing that yourself.  :D

"...as well as I don't agree with some of my colleagues when they tell students they are doing ok, and then while we talk tell me that person is horrible and simply NOT doing ok..."

I hate it when professors are like that - I prefer it when someone will be up front and honest with me about my performance.  Without being faced with my faults there's really no good way to improve - I'd rather know what I've done wrong so I can fix it or at least attempt to make some restitution, whether for better or worse.

I can't think of much else - it's too early.   :-\

I agree with you, that's why I disagree with them, it is hard to improve if you don't know what you're doing wrong, being wrong gives you a chance to get better.

But in their defense, I must say sometimes it doesn't matter how much you try you can crash a wall, I have TWO students who are completly impossible, one is a big important dude from the goverment (He's the worse... mean, rude and thinks he owns everyone), and the other one a computer science graduated , they are both professionals and I bet good at what they do, but their manners and attitude  are so wrong, it makes me curse each time I see them on my list of the day

Since I can't keep my mouth shut I do take my chances, and I am forward about their mistakes (and sometimes their attitude too), sad is, they don't to care at all, sometimes even getting rude and disrespective, sad... for them that is.

Bleh, it's freaking sunday I shouldn't be talking about work lol

Jeysie is a bagel. Yeah, it just felt right...

Daphne is like ice cream, (I forgot which flavor) since she's so cool. (Get it?)

Storm is a glass of water. Get it? Storm? Rain? Oh, forget it... But like water, life wouldn't be the same without her, right?

Kelsey is like a bowl of  Cocoa Puffs...with sugar. Just like anyone who eats the aforementioned cereal, she's very hyper, and insane.

Sooooooo...
Anyone else think that all the girls on the forum have totally awesome hair? (Yes, even the ones who haven't posted pics XD )
Say's is all long and soft looking, and goes GREAT with her smile. Cat's hair is just WONDERFUL, and Kelsey's is so gorgeous you just want to run your fingers through it.  ;D

Well, I was mostly focusing on hair for some odd reason, and I've never seen yours, so...yeah. :P
Rest assured, if Kelsey didn't exist, you'd probably be my bestest friend instead. XD

Awww, thanks! I think.  :P Oh, and my hair is a lot like yours, except more curly and less frizzy...so it abides by the laws of gravity--for the most part.  :P I keep it in a ponytail all the time. It's actually longer than it looks...it goes halfway down my back. In case you were wondering.  ;D

OMG J/K DON'T KILL ME! YOU ALL HAVE AMAZING HAIR! XD

Talking about girls and hair, a girl straightened my hair yesterday... looks... different?
