So I've been playing a little bit of Guild Wars 2 and was doing part of my story quest. I needed to get some information from some pirates so I needed to try to join their ranks, but they would have none of that until a large wave of monsters dropped by and I helped. They conceded that I could fight, but there was more to being a pirate than to fight; you also had to be skilled at cursing. I'm thinking, "Hm, this is starting to sound a little familiar." In one of the dialogues where you had to choose which insult to use against the first mate, one of the options to use was "Your mother was a cowherder!" (shown in the screenshot below). And I mean I can completely hear Guybrush's voice actor in my head when I read this.
So I wonder: coincidence or subtle nod to the greats? :D

Besides the word "cow" it really isn't like the line at all. And you guys aren't even swordfighting. :P
That's true. After all, the insults were only half the solution; you had to get ye a sword after all :P
