Using Sully as partner on this.
What I have done+going to every scene I currently have and checking everything again/talking to people.
[spoiler]Have given chips, have shown photo. Sully has spoken to him to encourage him to talk to me, have listened to tape recorder multiple times, have found locket.[/spoiler]
Unsure what I'm missing, any hints would be much appreciated, don't want to resort to hitting my head on the desk :-\

[spoiler]I've actually tried to give him the locket but whenever I try Erica keeps telling me she doesn't need to do that now.
I don't have the option to, set up inventory and mousing over Robert I get no "use item" icon.[/spoiler]
Edit: Perhaps I've not gone crazy buy run into a bug? :-\ Though loving the game even if that ends up being the case :)
Edit #2 : Checked again and made a correction to what is happening.
That's really odd. That message should only pop up if you haven't given Robert everything up to that point. Here's the order of the item you need to give him:
[spoiler]After giving him the food, you give him the Sarah photo (if you didn't give it to him in the alleyway), then the victim's photo. and then the locket. After you give him the locket you should be able to click the Cognition sphere and interact with Robert which brings you to the next step.[/spoiler]

And a related question - have you thoroughly searched Erica's desk?
.. i think so? I ofc went back and I am assuming you are implying that I need the money that I have been looking for and that it should be in the office desk? and well in my(davvos) office desk there is only two things - papers - the nephew one and the shredded one! What am I missing?

No. Look in YOUR desk. The one that Erica sits at when John and Sully come to talk to her at different times. The one just to the right of the reception area.

i give up...gave robert the pic of sarah..the pic of hanging victim....the locket..chips...got davis coffee mug on table...have tried it with sulley and with john...cognition powers wont work...any suggestions

[spoiler]Do you have the cognition power that requires more then one object? If so, make sure you look for a certain set of hands as one of the objects. If not, there is a certain shop owner you may want to go talk to.[/spoiler]
