As a person who is not in a relationship and enjoy Valentine's day as much as any other celebration (especially the commercial side of it), I have only one thing to say:

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day. How does that make you feel? Personally, I'm going with "I love it!" For those of you on the hate/depressing side, though, I feel your pain. That's where I was before I met my wife.

It's okay. It's just another day mostly. I can see how it might be important or nice if you were 1) in a relationship and 2) needed to have a day to remind you of that.

I'd love it if it weren't so commercial. A day when people can express their love? That sounds good. But a day when people are pressured into buying random stuff and where anyone who's not in a relationship is reminded of this at every shop window? Not so much. :-/

It's okay. :) It's a nice excuse to go out if you've got an SO, but if not, whatever, just enjoy the day and some tasty chocolates all for you!
With no offense meant to my boyfriend, my best Valentine's yet was when I got to join a friend's brother for a last minute free Barenaked Ladies concert. It was an awesome concert by one of my favorite bands, fun time, free!, and we never even mentioned the "V-word".
That said, I'm still looking forward to this year's ice-skating, dinner and Warm Bodies come Saturday. :)
