Title: Indie support! Indie share :)
Post by: Say on February 15, 2013, 04:30:59 PM
Have you got any indie game around that nobody knows about? or how about some greenlight project you've seen that you believe deserves attention and it does not have any yet?

Please do share here. I love to support indie games and developers, so I'm always connecting with as many people as I can and whoever you bring to my attention may be someone I can help in one way or another.

Thank you! :)

The Ben Jordan series by Grundislav Games is a great little indie adventure game series: http://www.grundislavgames.com/benjordan/

He's made 8 games in the series! It's got pretty simple art, animation, music, etc, and voice acting varies in quality, but heartfelt, a good continuing storyline, and fans of classic adventure games will enjoy them.

Slime Forest is a fun game for learning Japanese: http://lrnj.com/

I prepurchased it back in... 2002 I think? It's an ongoing project.

If you like horrifying/grotesque stuff, I recommend The Cat Lady:

As for free games, I recommend Prism Panic (http://games.adultswim.com/prism-panic-puzzle-online-game.html) for those of you who like smooth, superbly-built platformers. It's a game where there are sort of pockets of another dimension scattered across the world - the regular world is full of green grass and friendly critters, but if you wander into the evil dimension the grass turns into spikes and the critters turn into horrific things. It has a very satisfying feel to is, very smooth.

If you'd prefer a slower game that's also very clever, try 400 years (http://www.fastgames.com/400years.html). You have 400 years to stop an impending catastrophe. The trick is, you can "wait", which will speed up time but use up years. So if you need to get over a pool of water, you can wait for winter and walk across the ice. If you need to get up a cliff you can plant a seed nearby and wait a decade or so for it to grow tall enough to climb. It's very slow-paced and relaxing, and has some really neat ideas in there, so I do recommend it.
