Hey friends! You may have noticed we've started a series of Developer Diary blog posts this week, something we plan to extend as a regular feature here on the site. Some links to our first two posts:
The Inspiration for Erica Reed (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2182)
Becoming the Producer of TSL Episode 5 (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2499)
The Developer Diaries will go up twice a week (generally on Tuesday & Friday), focusing on different topics and areas of development and the experience of being an indie dev! Posts will be coming to you from myself, Cesar, and Adrienne. :)
We'd love to hear both what you think of these posts, and also what you'd like to hear about in them! What aspects of development are you curious to know more about, what would you like to see written about, what questions do you have, and so forth! We're here to give the people what they want. :)
Yep, I've been reading them, I'm not sure how I didn't make the connection from Erica to Agent Dunham before though :P

The regular schedule for these will be Cognition Dev Diaries on Tues & Friday written by myself, and on Wednesday, a rotating schedule of posts about TSL (Adrienne), the community (Say), and Moebius (Cesar).
Oh, cool! :)
I just skimmed Adrienne's first post (couldn't read it properly... *is quasi-working*): I enjoyed it.
Thanks for posting them ;D
You're quite welcome!
We've got another up today about teaming up with Jane Jensen :) http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2239
I'll make a point to update this thread with our new posts.
Today's post about the Design Process has gone up: http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2583
Say's Community post about loving what you do went up on Wednesday (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2561), and on Monday I talked about getting laid off from my last job and finally diving into fulltime game development work (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2318).
Today's Dev Diary is All About Animation! http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2618
Cesar's first Moebius post is up! Moebius: Through the Eyes of a Fan (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2625)
And there's some super-sexy Moebius promo art in there with it!
Every word I read about Moebius only heightens my anticipation. Can't come soon enough!
Today's Dev Diary: The Cinematic Experience!

Catch up on this week's blog posts!
Cesar talks about the final voiceover recording sessions for Raleigh Holmes as Erica Reed: The Voices That Matter (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2669)
Adrienne describes the process of going from concept art to the final 3D Model in TSL: Concept Art to Final Product (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2705)
And finally, my post for Friday, very appropriate to this weekend: PAXEast 2013 is Here! (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2733)
Hmm... I think I like Rosella's older model better, assuming that's the final version and not just a sneak peak of what she could look like.
Why's that?
I guess I'm just used to the other one.
I prefer the new model. I love the detail on her dress.! I think she will look better animated with emotions.
A busy week of GDC and recovering from PAX made us a bit short on posts, but today's is up!
It's All Logical (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2754), where I talk about my sliver of programming know-how. :)
Great post, Katie! And yes, the logic does look that convoluted - and sometimes worse! Aaron (Oldbushie) has added in the ability to split a scene's logic into tabs, which makes it a lot easier to deal with. :)
Cesar tells us all about the Adventure Developers Party at GDC, complete with pictures! In case we weren't all already wishing we were there, attendees included Agustin Cordes, Ragnar Tornquist, and even Ron Gilbert!

And, as always, I take awful, awful pictures. :P
I think it's a cute picture!
And among others, I wish I'd been there so I could've you in person, too!
I think you're fine :)

What are you talking about? You look great!
My eyes are closed! XD
I see there's only one way to cure Rosella of her shyness:
Girl! You so fine I wish I could plant you and grow a whole field of you!
A field of roses! How nice!

Look at the picture of Cez and Wayne. Somehow, they managed to make it look like Wayne has no eyes at all! :P
This week, we re-blog a guest post from last May of Austin Haynes talking about composing for Cognition. Complete with samples!
Music to Our Ears (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2823)
Today's "dev diary" really isn't one at all. I live in Boston & it was hard to focus my thoughts on anything but what happened here yesterday. So here are my thoughts on the heroes who emerged, and my prayers to all those affected by the tragedy.
Real Heroes (http://www.postudios.com/blog/?p=2842)
(Thankfully, my family, friends, and I are all perfectly okay and weren't anywhere near the Marathon finish line.)
Thank you for sharing, Katie.
<3
Thanks Stephen :)
Today's blog post is up! "Harbinger of Red Tape", where in Cognition's Production Coordinator Gavin Greene tells us about his role on the development. Also featuring some fantastic art by Elisa :)
