May 18th, one of the most important dates for us <3 how cute! Now that things are actually official the planning is giving me a headache, I have no idea where to start to be honest. And sadly, I don't know if we would actually have *anyone* with us that day (my parents being in a different country and Michael's dad being in a different state as well) Also, we don't have friends here just yet, just acquaintances and such...

It depends on how traditional a wedding you want. If you can't afford much you could just have a very small wedding and have a big reception/party/family reunion at a later date when both families can come. Or you could again have a small wedding but have two receptions, one at your folks and one at his and turn it into a Honeymoon/vacation as well. It all depends on what you can do and what you can afford.

Wedding cake: Walmart actually makes the BEST cakes! Flowers can be ones you find in gardens or wildflowers maybe? :)
I think that it will go way smaller than that, since most of MY friends are scattered all over the world and my family being so away! Michael's dad can't travel here, in fact we have talked about visiting afterwards and sort of make it like a weekend-get away just like what Shades mentioned. So for that day we will go extremely simple and the guests are the main involved :P
We are actually considering making some reservations at a nice restaurant afterwards, so we won't be having a party or reception (no family/friends!) Oh well.
Either way, I must let you know that we ARE organizing a big group meeting, I don't know wether we will be able to make it this year or not but it would be a meeting of TSL members and Fans (pretty much how it was that time with the Live Auditions in NY) So, we will see what happens about that :)

Hmm I can't say exactly right now since I'm not sure when all my midterms and finals will be yet. I'll MSN you once I know. For me, the best time would be during the Christmas season or in 2007, but if that's too late then maybe I'll just come by to visit rather than the actual ceremony. :P

Either way, I must let you know that we ARE organizing a big group meeting, I don't know wether we will be able to make it this year or not but it would be a meeting of TSL members and Fans (pretty much how it was that time with the Live Auditions in NY) So, we will see what happens about that :)
There is a chance I could attend that though. :D
It would be really nice to see some of you in such a special day. Although I believe *some* might make it, luckily :)

I am proud and happy to announce that I am officially married as of November 16th :)
We have a small wedding but it was so sweet and special. We got Judge Eric Bloch from the Courthouse in Portland, he prepared the sweetest ceremony ever for us and even though we ran into one million issues just to get it done, we finally got there :)
Then Michael and I headed out to a very sweet restaurant and spent our lovely time outside, even though it was so cold it was seriously one of the craziest and most special day for me :)
