Title: New Lucas Arts (not exactly true but almost) Adventure Game!
Post by: Mary Jane on July 15, 2004, 02:39:46 PM
August Moon, a new adventure game company formed from old Lucas Arts adventure game employees, is making a new adventure game called A Vampyre Story.
Check it out at: www.adventuregamers.com/display.php?id=402

This game not only looks extremely different, but extremely good. Those are some seriously beautiful BG images. Hooray for traditional 2D backgrounds!

Hmm...a mostly 2D adventure game made by former employees of a company that seems to have just about abandoned the genre and the technique...could this be revenge?

As long as it is coming on the PC I can't care less about what they do with the X-box.

There have been great games, ruined by multiple platform releases. Although it probably won't have very high system requirements because of it.

Xbox has only 64meg of system memory. So it shouldn't be memory intense.

Vengence is indeed sweet.  :D  Vampyre Story looks great, and it seems like it's in good hands.
