I've been seeing some major performance issues on a Late 2013 MacBookPro:
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB
I have set the game to it's highest graphics settings - 2880 X 1800 / Graphics Quality = Fantastic
It seems that no matter what the CPU is always maxed out and the laptop fans kick in. This happens immediately after loading a save game while nothing seems to be going on in-game. The battery itself is draining very quickly - I am lucky if I get 45 minutes of battery time with it. During this time, in game dialog and mouse movement becomes unstable.
I have tried lower resolutions but it still causes the high CPU.
Any other players experiencing this problem? I am using the patched version that POS sent to my email.
It seems not only with Mac books but with Notebooks at all. On my girlfriends Notebook (i3, Geforce 830, 6GB-Ram) the game runs a bit choppy on "good" settings (cursor, movements etc.) even at the first scene in the book store. It can't be that power-hungry, can it?
Hi guys sorry for the trouble Scripper can you try the setting marked beautiful and let me know the result @cpasquini try the fast setting pelese

The fast setting seems to have helped so far. just for my own knowledge - what is the difference between those various settings (fast...fabulous)
Those are the quality settings - fast is lower quality but faster (for less powerful systems); fantastic is high quality but slower.
