bad: I spent all night working/studying, I'm uber tired right now

worse: since I'm all sleepy and clumsy, I injury myself really bad in the kitchen, I burnt partially my right hand, what it's bad is that I think it's a bad bad burn cuz it actually peeled off my skin in some parts...
oh bleh...  :'(

Ohhh, sounds nasty! I burnt myself with an antique blowtorch once and I was very lucky not to lose my hand (gas seals failed and so the in-built fuel supply went up like a Molotov Cocktail).
My advice, do not burst any blisters that form (they are a good protective layer), avoid fluffy/adhesive dressings and do not apply any ointment/oils/fats to the burn. See, I do have some useful knowledge!  8)

Actually I am also tld that you must keep a person who has been badly burnt, warm and comfortable to avoid shock setting in. *Offers to give say a nice hug should she want one.*

ugh yeah, I got a few and Im scared to touch that, that's why I'm like "what the... is this?!", I just burnt myself in the kitchen in a very stupid way, apparently I have other stuff in my mind rather than be careful not to grab uber freaking hot objects... :( I can't believe I'm that clueless when I'm worried or stuff :(

thanks for the hug :) I'll be fine, no trauma or anything :P the burnt was partially on my right hand, but the blisters and weird stuff is just in small areas, so, it's not bad bad all over (which I'm glad) it just really really hurts in some parts due a little peeling already which I have no idea how it happened, and well... those tiny things that scare me off lol :( the problem is that Im worried I wanna be ok to work, kinda fugly to have that in my hand, should I cover it or something? it just kinda freaking hurts :(

what a great day to get burnt, the day when they nitpick even if your hair looks bad lol :(

Hmmm, in a survival situation I would tell you to cover the hand with a sealed polythene bag to stop furthur infection but that is not an option for obvious reasons!

As I said, you can cover the burns with dressing but DO NOT use fluffy dressing or ones that are self adhesive; good ol' smooth bandages should be fine. Anything else will get fibres into the wound and are in danger of peeling off more skin.

I would rest the affected area (assuming it is your hand) if I were you. Avoid stretching the skin if possible to keep the blisters intact.
Oh, and see your doctor!  8)

Take care! *Hugs Say before wishing her well*  :)
