I just downloaded msn 7.0 and it didnt install properly. Then i rebooted, and it still didnt work. I went back and installed 6.2 and now theres bugs. Does any one else have this trouble? ??? :-X >:(
:help:
Please, those who have got msn 7.0 to work, post all your bugs and opinions.
:gossip:
(Official release of msn 7.0 is early next year)
what are the extra options with msn 7.0??
I might try installing it :D :-\
I'd rather wait until it's released officially. Otherwise MSN Plus won't work with it. XD
...if plus doesn't work, then I don't want anything to do with it ::) :P
Gotta be wary of beta versions --- ;)
I wouldnt know the extra options so far. If you find a screen-shot, then post it on here 8). MSN plus doesnt work at this stage. Some of my friends already have it and say they have found a few annoying bugs. :furious:
Well, I don't know much about it but I have heard that MSN Version 7.0 seriously mucks up certain computer systems. Thats what I have heard from my computer programming associates anyway!
Microsoft released the official Beta version (http://messenger.msn.com/Beta/Default.aspx) a few days ago. The version did work on my computer :). Personally I would say this version SUX :-X.

-A few new games that you can play
-you can sign-in as "Appear Offline"
-Conversation bumping
-Winks (not emotions)
-Handwriting in conversations
Disadvantages-Your display pic changes every time u log in
-plus doesnt work yet
-the games don't work on my client :-\
More to come
-Some how my installation files for 6.2 have been deleted
I would stick with 6.2 until the official version is released.
So they've FINALLY decided to make Winks built-in to the messenger... about time. :P

MSN Plus is spyware ::) :P
Sounds really sneaky -- I have no desire for MSN plus and will not install it
Check out how it changes your registry :furious:

Yeah, I learned the hard way about the spyware (and didn't see the "just say no" choice). It messed with my computer for about a week and a half before I finally restored my computer. I wasn't a happy camper during that time. I'd delete the spyware, and about four restarts later, it'd come back. >:(
Thats why you should always read the 50,000 pages of crap that they release for the licence :P
I did...the second time I was going to download it after I restored my computer. That's when I decided NOT to download it.
