Live journal? Not those awful Blog Spot thingies that keep on clogging up my search engine results with useless trivia about other peoples lives who I care little about?
(sorry if that sounds a rather brutal view to take about other peoples feelings but I try to help others feel better about themselves on a daily basis. Consequently, I have heard every tale of woe that has ever been told and so I have little wish to hear more about someone else's miseries or trivia for I have heard it nearly all before. Yes, not all the journals are miserable but in those cases I still do not want to learn about the lives of people who have nothing to do with me and never will do.)

Sorry if that sounds an extremely "anti-human spirit" view but you would understand completely why I take it if you were in my shoes.

As for me, I do not actually keep records or journals. I am not allowed to write down many things in case someone else reads them and I personally do not wish to keep a record of my own depressing existance anyway!   ;)

P.S get well soon Kimmie.  8)

Well, I suppose it works for some people!

In my experience I keep on colliding with peoples journals when I am searching for specialist topics (e.g. SuperKarting, Aviation etc...) and there entries get mixed up with the results. When I first encountered them I clicked on a site to find a single sentance to the subject I was looking for and the rest was, well, junk (not junk in the sense of the persons writing, its just that it was not what I was looking for.)

As for meeting new friends/people. Well you have got me there I suppose. Indeed, my entry onto this forum was partially prompted by others trying to make me talk to others (I was in total isolation basically, and still am to a degree).  I was so annoyed by their pestering that I joined this forum just to keep them quiet (and because I was interested in the project!) No offence to you lot here, its just that normally I would be content just to look at the posts with a "wish I was there" feeling. Indeed, if I joined on the day I first saw this site then I would be one of the oldest members here! I was going to leave it but I knew they would be hunting to see if I had posted or not so I started and now I know all you wonderful people!  :) I could leave, I am no longer obliged to post but it would be such a waste and would probably offend you all so...

Basically what I am trying to say is that you have all been very kind to me, made me feel very welcome and consequently I consider you all friends.
