steup a atuomacic e-mail notacation for wehen pp resopnd to ur posts with out you having to hit noitefify every time and you should be able to select this option from your profile

Wow...I thought Alexish had helped me decode ANYTHING...but that took me a few reads before I got it. For those who don't want to go to the forum everytime they want to see if there are new posts...email notification is a great tool. It's something I've been doing since I came back in February or March.

Yeah...I've had times when people went wild posting that I've had 30 emails. But I've also had times where I've only had five or six in the morning. The good thing is, a lot of the threads that I have on notification die out, so it's not like I get an email for EVERY thread.
..it's not a good thing that threads die out Cat... cuz then there are less opertunities for me to post, but yeah when someone replies to all threads on one evening or so (like Bob, Bushie, etc) there would be ...lots of emails :P
True...because most of the time when Bob posts, that's when I end up with at least 30 email notifications :P

I don't do those notifications, although two nights ago I seem to have inadvertently clicked on one. The (two) notofication were, ofcourse, immediately deleted whenever I got hold of them (in my IN-box) and I deleted the notifications as soon as I got on the forum the next night.
BTW, I usually don't frequent this part of the forum, but I was just watching the 'Who's online' page and I saw someone replying to this message, so I thought I'd check it out too. 8)

The newer version of the forum has a profile setting for automatically requesting notifications on replies to threads. :)
By the way, there's a checkbox when you're replying that says "Notify of replies", which works the same as clicking on Notify.
