I doubt anyone here has heard of it(though, that's what I thought of Captain Kangaroo also :P ), due to it's age, but I like it. ;D

I don't know why but the name reminds me of a children's storybook.

Well, our PBS re-ran almost every series they ran 50 years ago and that could somewhat stand the test of time, but this didn't, so I guess they never ran it in the first place. 8)

I think I should point out, that most of the movies are easy to acquire/buy(in the US).

They should be easy to buy online, and have imorted though(I'm not sure, but I don't think most of the DVDs have region protection). :-\

The trick is to try and get them past customs without paying any import taxes, otherwise you're going to be in for a nasty surprise when you get it. I should know, I've managed to do it both ways. And then there's ofcourse the region protection, we haven't gotten around to hacking our DVD-players to region-free yet.

I'm not sure how it works in Flanders but in the UK import duty is the worst of your worries as its only 2.5% of the total MARKED price of the item. The thing that really starts to pack on the £'s is VAT which is 17.5% of the total. Also Parcel force and Royal mail like to slap on their £15 Customs clearance fee everynow and again which is very annoying. What I've started doing though is to ask anyone that ships stuff out to me to mark down the cost of the item so its under the £31 barrier where its liable for VAT to be added.

So far I've only been badly stung once which was when I bought My Torchic GBA SP from Japan, had to pay about £18.50 on top of the price. I didn't get anything on my US/Canadian DS which arrived last week though. God bless ya DHL  :lovegoggles:

Oh and ma and pa Kettle makes me think of Kettle chips...mmmmmm

LOL I love Ma and Pa. It was an old radio show as well as a collection of movies. They also appeared in the The Egg and I.
