I was wondering if something with the forum was making it slow? The rest of the site loads fine, but when I use the forum the page load dreadfully slow! Sometimes it will speed up, but then it will slow back down again. I know it's not my internet connection, as everything else on the site works fine, and other forums work too. Does anyone know what could be causing this? ???
It depends on the time of day you use it. I noticed that this server tends to do site backups usually around midnight and sometime during the afternoon. When it's being backed up, the forum gets awfully slow and may even show some error messages.
you can blame KQIX's dreadful webspace provider :-\ :P
