Maybe... the tests were inconclusive :P

Actually, it's only true according to AGDI's KQ2+ - the original KQs never hinted anything to that effect 8)

But are they really siblings through their parents' blood? When I hear of "sister" in connection with some organization, I think of something like "sister of the order XY" ...  ???

I'll have to re-install the collection to verify that, but it might be an error - trivia shouldn't include things that weren't specifically stated in the games themselves :-\

I don't remember exactly where I read it now, but it was previous to KQ2 VGA.

Yes, Hagatha is sister to both Mordack and Manannan.

I asked Roberta and sorry to admit that she said she didn't remember the Black Cloak Society. It sounds cool. Perhaps she should have taken it more seriously and featured it in other games. With respect to Hagatha [being related to Manannan and Mordack]: Roberta's answer was, "Would you like them to be related?" Then she said, "Nope, Hagatha was her own seperate person.

Hagatha was never part in any discussion of a Black Cloak Society.

Well, I could see why Roberta never considered Hagatha as part of the Black Cloak Society: Hagatha is from KQ2 and the first mention of the BCS didn't happen until KQ6. :P

:) Actually it was first Mentioned in KQ5 during the beginning intro when Cedric took Graham to Crispen, we then heard more of the BCS through Alhazred when Alixander spied on him and when Alixander read a letter that is from Shadrack. :o

Ah, ok.  I couldn't remember if it was mentioned in KQ5 or not. :P Still, the BCS wasn't mentioned until 3 games and five years later (1985 to 1990), so it makes sense that Hagatha was never intended to be part of it.

Actually, the BCS was never mentioned in KQ5 by name. IIRC, Crispin talks about a sociaty of wisards, one which he himself is a member of (a society of 'good' wizards).

Is that the offical KQ9 stance? ;)

Well I like the idea that Hagatha was their sister, it connects things and makes it feel more continutious (is that even a word?) I just can't wait for KQ9 to come out :) IIt's going to be NICE to play a REAL adventure game again :)
