I don't think the Daventry family would fit in with Earth of today, they'd hate it  here. I picked Narnia because I love the books about Narnia and think they would like the narnia characters, especially Aslan the lion.

Darn tootin they would! THey're already used to crazy landscapes of odd characters and places. Frank Buam really wrote a great series and its sad that so many don't relaise that there's more then one story of Oz.

I read a bit of the Oz books but I didn't like them. Then I was cast for Dorothy in the school play and my dislike for Oz increased. ::) I would have to hate the royal family to send them there. :P

Ancient Egypt would be cool, in the time of Moses. As a nenber if his "freedom fighter". Then the characters could interact with slaves,perform the miracles of the plagues and experience the parting of the Red Sea and the 40 years in the wilderness and all the emotions that they went through!
