As for me, I choose Valanice. She's behind the scenes most of the time, but she's still an important part of the royal family.
As far as villains go, I think I'd want to be Malicia. Out of all the bad guys/gals of King's Quest, she definately gets the most fun out of being evil.
If I were a guy, though, I'd totally be Edgar. He's gentle and brave, and it doesn't hurt that he's a fairy, too. I... I just like him. Shut it. :)
