As some may know, Christy Marx was the designer of Sierra's Conquests of the Longbow game. She has a site, her own personal site, where a person can download the game. However, she says she gives no gurantees and you're downloading at your own risk. I'm thinking of trying it, has anyone ever downloaded it and if so, did it work?
can you give a link? and i wouldn't download any thing that the person offering it wasn't sure of :stabs:
He must mean www.christymarx.com (http://www.christymarx.com), and more specifically www.christymarx.com/writing/longbowfiles.htm (http://www.christymarx.com/writing/longbowfiles.htm).
That "download at your own risk" warning must mean 'I can't gurantee this game would work' rather than 'I can't gurantee this game wouldn't make your computer explode' :P so I'd download it, except I already have a copy of it somewhere 8)
I wonder if shes the kind of person that would play a mean trick. Although maybe the government is making her do it so that people that illegally download it get their computers messed up:S . Although maybe it's reverse psychology and it really does work.:stars:
LOL of course not! she wouldn't put up a game she knows not to work, she just doesn't want people to come complaining if it doesn't work with Windows XP/crashes their computer/eats their cat 8)
I own it and thought it a beautiful game, if anyone needs the copy protection just e-mail me and I'll scan it in for you.
