Time to get sadistic  What death scene in which game is your favourite and why?
The Space Quest series always had some hilarious death scenes, particularly SQIV with the slime in sewers. I don't know why I like it so much; I just got a thing for evil liquids, plus Gary's comments are just the bomb.
But nothing beats the subtle cynical details of SQII's falling deaths XD
The moat from the KQ1 remake(Sierra's). The audio, the animation, the expression of the sea serpents... it all fits together quite well.
No death thread should go without mention of:
QuoteThat last step was a doozy!
;D
XD
I like one of the QfG deaths that I know nothing about titled "Rise, Shine, and Die!" XD

You referring to this one (http://tmd.alienharmony.com/rw/sq4/2/b.htm), by chance?
Thats one of them, but that kind of death and the message that goes with it are seen all the time in Sierra games.
It would probably take forever to list all my favorite deaths. Just beware of electrical force fields so you don't get fried to a crackly crunch. YOU'RE TOAST, DUDE!
Some of the deaths in the Laura Bow games were pretty sadistic, especially in the second one. :P
GAH! I hated the death scene in Laura Bow I where she gets sliced in half by the suit of armor.Â
"Talk about a splitting headache!" *groan*
The Space Quest deaths were lots of fun:
"How far down your family tree did knuckles last play an important role in locomotion?"Â -- http://tmd.alienharmony.com/rw/sq2/1/d.htm
I like the one where you get killed by the zombies in KQVI! "Your mother always told you not to talk to strange ghouls."
And what about this one from the ever popular series "Kink's Quest" :D :D :D

i thought you would get the message you got your brains ......... out
sorry couldn't write it down
Either in KQ1 SCI where Graham falls off the Beanstalk, or when the witch turns him into a cracker and the little start over or load a game box calls you a graham cracker lol ;D
Now that was funny XD

I think that's in QFG1 EGA whenever you sleep in the forest. Because in the VGA version all it says is: "Something decided to make a meal of you. You don't know what it was, but at this point you don't really care seeing as how you're dead" Or something like that. AAP, that's really funny. I checked Ebay but they don't have any more copies. :'(
Then again, I saw the thread where it was mentioned so I know you're not serious.
Actually, that death in QFG1 had the title of "Night Gaunt got ya". If you fall asleep while robbing the Burgomeister's house, part of the message is "Rise, Shine, and Die!". :scholar:

Okay. But all you do is get arrested, therefore ending the game. ;D
BTW. Have you ever let the gypsy burn at the stake in QFG4? I can't wait to try that out. If you wait long enough without rescuing Igor or doing anything really, he dies and curses Mordsavia, at which point you die because you need his help to finish the game.

Did you
really do that??
Nope, but I checked Amazon ;D. Really I saw the thread of you making fun of icarus and then the box cover there, so I decided not to. You really should market that game!
I'm sort of making an adventure game (point & click) called Roy's Adventure "Your Presents Is Needed"
It's about a kid named Roy who must bring a present to his friend who's sick in the hospital. Pretty weird....
The one in SQ4 'Zero-G skating would be perfect for you since you've got a Zero IQ
