if they were Jewish they'd celebrate Hannukah. Seems to be each religion has its own holiday around this time. Does anyone know what holidays Muslims celebrate in December? When does Ramadon take place? I guess Muslims don't celebrate Christmas, do they? How about Buddhists, and Hindus, do they have a winter holiday?

Well, Ramadan takes place in, well, Ramadan. It's a month itself. XD Eid-ul Fitr takes place at the end of Ramadan, which was early November, I think. No winter holiday for us. :P

Since the Islamic calender follows the lunar year, Islamic holidays 'migrate' around the year/seasons, so you can't really say it's a winter holiday :-\
