I think it's Pandora's Box, too, but I don't think Rosella could have opened it. After all, if you make her open it in King's Quest IV, she dies.

It looks like Pandora's Box, but I assumed that was Valanice opening it rather than Rosella - partly because of what we know of the TSL's Valanice, but also since Rosella already seem to appear elsewhere in that picture :-\
I was wondering if that was supposed to be Pandora's Box. It probably is , seeing how it has evil demon-like things coming out of it.
If so, then these demons are much better than the ones from KQ IV. I always thought it was a little silly to see Rosella get killed by squiggly worm thingies. ::)

Well with 16 colours and very pixely graphics you can't do much else.
Hmm, I wonder how Rosella (or whoever) got their hands on it to begin with. If I recall correctly, that box was pretty safely locked away!
I'm pretty sure that Valanice opened it. It really looks like Rosella on the side.

It was really silly, but it's always been one of my favorite death scenes. The shocked look on her face, and the way she slumps over, and the scolding death message you receive is classic. I always thought it was fun to open the box in places like the fisherman's cabin in front of his wife, or better yet, in Genesta's room after you've pretty much beat the game, but right before you give her the talisman back! ;) Silly Princess! ::)

The colors there are a bit distorted... it could be blonde just as well, and her position opposite to Alex suggests it's Rosella.
Besides, there aren't any prominent redheads in KQ ;)
Pity. :P In the KQ Companion it says Lady Celeste is, but I don't see the wings...
I say the girl laying down is Rosella, especially since she's opposite of Alex. And doesn't the dress look like one in one of the wallpapers or screenshots? The woman right behind the box, I think is Valanice...but only because her hair is pulled back.
The woman in the middle could be anyone with brown hair, it doesn't need to be Valenice, (why would she open Pandora's Box?) I think it might be Cassima because in the wallpaper it says "His Queen, his shining light, his downfall." Mabye that's why...?
But...Cassima has black hair.
I also think that the woman behind the box is Valanice, seeing as the dress that the person lying opposite of Alexander is wearing looks very much like Rosella's dress from the character wallpaper.
Another thought struck me though, but I'm not sure how likely it would be... Could it possibly be Sarah? We know that she's at least going to have a small part in TSL. :-\

Another mystery is, when you zoom out you can see the pic is actually one big face... who's face is it? and why is there a red feather in the eyes? could it be the red feather from the adventure cap? (geez, I really missed speculating :P)

Hmmm...there's a "V" at the forehead of the person...could be the adventurer's cap on Graham's head...
I was thinking the same thing... I mean, if that's really Valanice, he's the only member of the royal family missing from the picture.
