Title: KQ5 Error, Please Help
Post by: mastag83 on January 14, 2006, 03:37:24 PM
I've never beaten KQ5 yet but today I've gotten so far and beat it but after I kill Mardock and when the slave Cassima comes out and talks to me then the game seems like it freezes but the colored water still moves.

I also noticed this

Edit: I'm going to get the CD version I heard it doesn't freeze at the end.

It must be a bad copy. You didn't download the text version, did you? I heard that it messes up at the end when downloaded.

Couldn't you just download a patch?

That's not the only thing wrong with it... IIRC that's supposed to be red hot coal, not psychedelically-colored water :S

I've gotten it to work with Dos-Box. It helps with a lot of old dos games, but you sometimes have to fool with it. The D-fend program help with some of those problems and makes it where you can have icons that load the games without typing stuff in. Here's links to both sites:

:P ::) Okay, so mabye it is kinda illegal.  :P ::) But it could be a lot worse, at least the games aren't being sold anymore and even though you could get it from Ebay, it's a lot more difficult and chances are the cd's are scratched up.

Not usually. And sure it's harder, but that's because it's legal. :P It's like downloading music! It's bad!
