I think they're about 500 gil per phoenix down. I guess it all depends on which FF, not too sure.

Hah! You kids have it lucky! I remember back when we had to pay 1000 gil for EVERY pheonix down. Either that, or spend 700 gil to learn Raise, then waste MP to cast it. Ethers didn't come cheap. They cost 1500 gil, and we had to walk 15 miles through the dungeon to get back to town and... :P

FFX2 in my opinion, and my friends opinions, is the teenagers game for all those teenage girls and guys that have no interest in RPGs and just play random games. :P

My friends and myself feel asthough it was a great let down to FFX. :-\

ffx was awesome, i just didn't like the ctb system. it was awesome, but it had some drawbacks. ffx-2 was amazing. the atb was done perfectly, the storyline was great, and the drespheres where wierd. (how far did you guys get in that game?)

i'm a tenage guy and rpgs rock. random games are ok every once in a while. ffx-2 is one of my all-time favorite games.

there's to max percentage points:100% (sphere goes to youth league) andd 99.2%(sphere goes to new yyevon). i got both and the secret ending.

i beat that one too. it wasn't as good. i hated fighting yunalesca. it took me 17 days and 10352 tries.

My favourite Final Fantasy is 4, but FFX was the first PS Final Fantasy for me and I found it was really good. But all you youngins love the idea of these icky sequels that Enix are forcing out. :P

5 and 9 were my favorites. 6 was also cool, and 7 was fun, but it's overrated. I have a rather strong dislike of 8, didn't care for 4, and haven't played much of the first 3. Oh, and Tactics RULES! ;D

4, 6 and 8 were my favourites. 7 was good but definitely overrated. 9 was fun, and it was good to see a modernised version of the older games (ie. crystals being involved in the plot). 1 was rather boring because it lacked a storyline. 2 was fun, haven't hard much of a chance to play into it. 5 was really fun as well but the job system kinda got annoying because I felt compelled to level each one up XD. Tactics wasn't released over here so I haven't got a hold of it yet :-\.

I never really found 11 interesting, wish the had have called it FFOnline rather than 11.

question:why do they just keep adding numbers to the end of all of the FF games, even though they're not sequels? and when they do make a sequel, they put a -2 at the end?
