I'm 24 and so far haven't found anybody my age to talk to. Don't get me wrong I met a lot of nice people, but it's just not the same... :(
*coughs*
Yonkey and Say are also around your age. The young whippersnappers seem to have taken over the place, but don't be fooled... :P
I'm 23. 8)
You probably won't get very far wanting to talk to people your own age on this forum ::)
Pretty much there's alot of older people.. Oldbushie, CC, Icarus, Gilgamesh... and.. others.. oh J-Roc..
I've seen people on this forum in their 20's act like they are 13, and people who are 13 act like they're 20.. really it's a diverse forum, people are CRAZEHâ,,¢ regardless of their age here :suffer:
Contrary to his name, Oldbushie actually isn't very old. :P
And I agree, age and maturity don't always go hand-in-hand. But regardless, this community is really great and certainly one of the best behaved out there. :)
XD

Not long now till the big 20...not that its that big a deal or anything lol. I wouldn't despair at the younger generation yet, most of the bad stuff is outweighed by the good but it just doesnt sell newspapers.
actauly I was talking about my generation, 80's kids. The only time I connect with them is when I talk about NES or cartoons like transformers,Masters of the Universe,Ghostbusters,NinjaTurtles, ect. LOL
Ninja Turtles?
*pulls Jafar into the thread*
Cowabunga!
That's all I know. ;P
Splinter taught them to be ninja teens! (He's a radical rat!)
Leonardo leads, Donatello does machines! (Thats a fact, Jack!)
Raphael is cool, but crude! (Gimmie a break!)
Michaelangello is a PARTY DUDE! (PARTAAAAAAY!)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!

I might be the youngest member on the site, as I just turned 14 on March 5th.
I have you beaten by 8 months. :P
EDIT: Father Ghostface is 14, so I have him beaten as well. :P
I know but he was about 11 or 12 when he first started posting here :P
So? :P I was 12 just a little bit ago, and I made my account at 11! :P
and when did you start posting? :P

Wabbaever you say. :P
I'm 25. I really hope I don't get any older, turning 30 scares me.
:-[
I thought you had to be 13 to be able to post here. I guess if you are under 13 and have your parents' permission to post it is ok. I'm glad that kids and teens are interested in King's Quest.
Nah, it doesn't ask you your age to sign up. :P I didn't really ask my parents either. :P
Alot of other forums have that rule, but then again, they have less rules are more mean people. :P
*arrests* Fewer rules. :P
*arrests*x2 Jafar also wrote "are" instead of "and". ;P
Well, that seems more like a typo than a punishable error. :P I mean, how could anyone mix up less and fewer!? :P
Nah.. his typo was spelling "alot" instead of "a lot". ;P *arrests*x3

What a lot of strange things happen on a post when I turn my back...
I will always say alot as one word for I was brought up that way, and you can't stop me! :P
I've always known it to be one word as well.
*feeling quite old at the moment* :P
But it ISN'T. :P

alot
(a common spelling error, but also used deliberately as a `cool' spelling) adverb 1. a great deal: The traffic has eased up and we're cruising alot faster now. --adjective 2. many; a great number or amount of: It was alot of fun.
Maybe some of us just prefer the "cool" spelling. ;)

Don't worry you still have plenty of time. A lot of people don't get married til they're 30 something. And I probably won't either. LOL
Hahaha, this thread keeps getting more and more interesting, first it was about age, then about grammar and now about marriage? :P
Oh btw, did anyone notice that Dirk's avatar is wearing a TSL shirt? :D <3
Married? Heh... I'll just settle for a not-crazy girlfriend right now. :P
And yeah... I wasn't bothered by my age until this year. Boooooo. I'm getting ooooooold. :(
It's ok to feel old, but don't dwell on it.
Take life by the horns day by day, and do the best you can.
And when your strength runs out and you have no where to turn
you can turn to the one who gives life... ;D
Well, i don't exactly grab life by the horns... life just generally sicks it's horns into my butt. owie.
perf... :P
Well, we know it's not horns in YOUR butt. :o
I'll be 28 in October :o
And this thread is really making my feel old :(
Thank god for James and Copycat, without them I would have been the oldest here :o :o :P
*pulls out another white hair*
Well I'm 24 now and still getting older every day.
It's strange, I've always known "a lot" to be two words, but I always thought "as well" was one word... ::) :P But apperantly it isn't. :P

I was taught that both of them were one word. But they keep changing things and it gets so confusing. >:(

Amen, sister. Getting older loses it's allure somewhere between 18-25... I think 25 was good for me. Major drop in my car insurance. Like a $1500 / year drop. :P
Yeah, 25 is a good age.
I wouldn't mind stopping at 21. Legal drinking age anywhere in the world. XD
Yep, 21 was a good age...
Good times back then, not alcohol-related though 8)
I remember 21.....
Wasn't the best year, but it was okay.

Hey it works wonders for me! Thanks to my dad gray hair sets in at about 20. :P
21 was tough for me. Alcohol made it easier. :P

Well, for awhile after University, I worked out in the oilfields of western Canada. In particular, I was working as a Field Engineer. And on my birthday, no less, I had to go work out on a drilling rig with one of the crews.
So, we were hoisting equipment from the ground to the rig floor (about 20-30 feet, depending on the rig... this one was maybe 25 feet... 7.5 meters, maybe). As we were hoisting, my glove (it was winter) got caught on the equipment and I started to get hoisted up as well, so I'm busy dangling with a 400 lb piece of equipment by just a glove. Fortunately, nothing happened. I got lowered down, things were okay.
Then later, on the same job, we were circulating our pump equipment (we use high pressure and volume pumps to pump fluids such as cement, water, etc.) We use the water to ensure all the lines are clear, etc. One of the lines was not clear, it had an ice plug. And the operator made a mistake by engaging one of the high pressure pumps, which caused the line to break and shoot the ice plug out. I have no idea how fast it was going, but the "whiz" by my ear and the breeze I felt left me feeling rather uncomfortable. Dumb luck was on my side that day, despite the unfortunate events.
22 here, but i'm sure all the kids i will be teaching when i graduate college will age me much faster :'(
*Sigh*
I think I'm already losing hair because of stress.
I know I've got small wrinkles because all the times I've furrowed by brow. If I do start losing it I'll just shave it off. I hate the half moon look.
I'm 21... no biggie.
*downs a bottle of dessert wine with 0.000001% alcohol*
I'm 22 but I feel so much younger.
I'm like, stuck at 17 man.
I'm stuck at 5 years old. :P
Most people who see me in real life say I'm not yet past 18. So I look almost 7 years younger.

I can relate to that. I'm 23, but don't exactly feel it most of the time because I've achieved basically nothing that you'd expect everyone to have achieved by that age. It's like I just want to be able to stop time long enough to be able to learn how to do these things I've missed , and then I'd be okay for life to continue.
Believe me looking very young isn't all. I look very young and due that during meatings I have for work they see me as a child/student. This makes them disbelieve things I say.
For meetings I have to dres myself older. And believe me that is tough to do.
