Well?... ;)
Google search!
I don't remember, but I think it was a Google search. :P I might have found it in someone's Sierra forum profile though.
It was in a an issue of Computer Games Magazine, in which the article wasn't even about you! It was about the AGDI remakes! I still have the issue! (I save all of my magazines!)
A Google search about King's Quest!
I sensed a great disturbance in the Force...it was LN, obviously. XD
Well, actually, I was using Wikipedia, but it eqates to Google. ;D
A google search for KQIX. I didn't know they stopped after MoE so I was looking for information on the 9th one. XD
I was desperately hoping for a better sequel than KQ8... XD I found the site fairly early on in its history.
Word of mouth! I got someone to tell me about it and so on, way back then before :P
Google search! Was also looking to see if Sierra made a decision to make another sequal...which was supposed to be better than MoE
Googley Woogley.
I sensed a great disturbance in the Force. :P
it kept telling me type www.kq9.org and so i found the site. He what is this force telling me now? it thare a game in production whit the king's quest characters ??? :P
A Google search about King's Quest, how else? :D
I Gooooooooogled my way here.
It was through a Google search. :P
Does anyone even bother using anything besides Google anymore? XD
I tried using Yahoo for something a few days ago and its results were somewhat similar, but the first result was far less relevant than Google's first.
Their PageRank pwnz. ;P
What the crap!? was I the only one here that heard by word of mouth!? :P
I guess so...
I try to tell a lot of people about this project though, but none of them join the forum I guess. XD
*doesn't know many hardcore King's Quest fans that live nearby*
I voted Other. It was a mixture of word of mouth(overheard it mentioned), finding someone linking to the site, and Google(to find the link)... I think. :P
Google Search for me too --- ;D
as with most people here it was a google search
I know Gilgamesh was by mouth since I told him.
The only person who's heard of KQ around here is my 7th grade Language Arts teacher, and she doesn't work at my school anymore. :P She said she played KQ3, but couldn't find a way to get out of the house. XD
XD

Nope, I found it that way too, thanks to Farquhar. :)
I believe a lot of our staff members found us by word of mouth as well. :P

I was bored (not to mention depressed after playing MoE) so I randomly started typing in sites, I tried King'squest.com, robertawilliams.com, kq9.com, kqix.org, and finally kq9.org :P
I actuaily found this sight completly by accident...i didnt even know they were doing a next version of the KQ series until a few weeks ago. I was originally looking up info on KQ6 (because i had lost the booklet) and oddly enough there was a link to a page that talked about KQ9. From there i just found it on my own.

With was sorta like that. Basically i was bored one day, after doing an old game mariathon beating the KQ games up till the 6th. On one of the cds there was/is a trailer of KQ7 so i thought that by now there should be a 9th or 10th already and googled for it and guess what... i was almost right ::)
I was stuck in one of the games *can't remember which one* and I was searching Google for hints. ;D
I can remember the night I decided to Google KQ. I had done it once a week several years before, and had given up. I thought there would never be a KQIX. But--lo! I was ecstatic! ;D
Some years ago, I was using my Ouija board when it suddenly spelt "kq9.org" (which is very strange, since it only had Hebrew letters). I immediately entered a trance, where I was possessed by the spirit of Robera Williams and recited the entire game plot from start to finish, in fluenet Aramaic; However, I completely forgot about it a second later, and all I had left to do is join the forum and harass people with silly questions and sillier stories 8)
Nahh... I got here through a link on the AGDI site :P
XD
A pity you didn't have a tape recorder handy. ;)

Do you mean you emailed Vivendi or Sierra and they sent you here?

But that's a bit like the chicken and the egg, isn't it? :S
I mean, where else did you get their e-mail address, if not on the site?
Relax guys, Jeanne means she e-mailed info@tsl-game.com. ;D
And welcome! XD
I heard about by word of mouth from Donny. He was really psyched about it. So I came on here to check it out.
Google... glorious Google. :james:
