Title: E-notification problem

Hey Webmaster,

When I get an e-mail notification of  a reply in the forum it says this: "There may be other replies also, but you will not receive any more
notifications until you visit the board again."

But I still get more notifications on the same threads! Can you fix this?

I arrived after home and i got like 50 something emails on my account! hahahaha
oh well i just go and delete them all and come and read them all here :)

Katie I can't do much about it.  This is a core forum issue, and we're not going to hack the code.

As for it spamming you, I believe the option to have it send you notifications is in your own profile.  You should be able to tell it not to send anything there.

And now it won't send me any e-notifications! EVen though I do have it selected.

The first time I came on the forums I asked to be notified... and immediatly turned that off when I saw how many messages I get. :o
Now I just go on the boards and check for new messages. I think the notification feature is a bit redundant :-/

BWAH!!!

I just opened my mailbox and apparentally all of the TONS of backlogged e-notifications....all *54* of them!!!

Okay, no more e-notify for me! I'll just hope I can remember all the forums I was posting in from now on!!

well an advice to new posters!... switch off that option! no notification alright ;)
