The TSL team has gone on strike :o and the only way to get the team working again is to shower them with gifts! XD This contest will be available from May 31st to July 30th, 2006 at the moment.

- Must not display or represent any offensive, religious, or political content
- Should be original and unique. It may be funny, serious, witty or whatever you consider
- May be any type of media (i.e. photo, picture, voice clip, song, poem, story, movie, etc.) under 5 MB
- Finally and most important of all: BE CREATIVE! Your entry must catch our attention and touch our hearts to win!
We will accept original videos, photos, music (or singing), poems, used napkins, puppies, food, cookies whatever you feel that would make THE best present that you could give the TSL Team. :P Remember, be creative and express your heart's desire!!
You may NOT reveal your submission in public. Once the winner has been chosen, he/she will be announced at the end of the contest and featured on the Home (http://www.tsl-game.com/) section of TSL site for one week, and permanently added to TSL's DeviantArt gallery (http://thesilverlining.deviantart.com).

We're obviously looking for something original and creative, so if you're reusing parts or whole pieces of stuff we've already done and do poor quality job at it, you run the risk of us disliking your entry more than if you hadn't used TSL media. :P

Deloria I don’t have a creative bone in my body :wall: and I’m honest about that. The few things I’ve done have all been by using pieces from other peoples creative talents. I had no intention on entering this contest but I had an extremely rare moment of inspiration (come to think of it I can’t remember the last one. :no:) while going through this site. If your posts are any indication, as I’m sure they are, you’re inspiration enough just let it out I’m sure it will be fantastic! :thumbsup:

Oh, sorry about that. I didn't write you back because it's actually perfectly fine to use TSL media, and you did a great job at it. :)
I just wanted to make it clear for everyone else that while they are completely allowed to use TSL media, if they do a poor job at it (i.e. their entry lacks creativity and/or quality) their chances of winning end up being much slimmer than if they didn't use our media at all. That's why it's risky, and should only be attempted by people that plan on putting their whole heart, time and energy into it. 8)

Is there something/someone that you see, hear, touch that elicits an emotion? Then put it in words, a poem, a picture, or even a song. How about a combination like a picture with a poem?
If we stay with KQ, which you obviously have a passion for, what is it that you like about it and why. What’s the most emotion felt scene (or scenes) for you. Tell us about it and how it affected you. Make a picture of that scene. It doesn’t matter the level of artist you are you’ve seen all levels here and they’re all good. Why? Because they took the time and effort and did it, that’s good in my book.
Take you favorite KQ picture/s and write you own scene kind of like a little play or skit.
Is there something non-KQ that makes you think of KQ? What is it and what does it make you think of?
This is all I can think of without actually saying too much to get you disqualified but hopefully this will help. This isn’t my forte so if anybody else can come up with things to think about without actually giving out something please do. I’m sure there are other people who could use the help too. (I’m normally one of them.)

What I thought I had finished in two days has turned out to be quite the project; of course starting with an erroneous template didn’t help. :wall: :stars: I’ll probably be sending you a third revision soon as I have just made some more minor tweaks to clean it up some more. Hopefully then I create the next one which unfortunately requires the first to be done. We’ll see.
Keep working your projects folks we need to have it in before the 30th.

ok...coz im a bit of a computer loser I've been stuggling. Thanks to the genius that is mr L.Night I have been guided!
However the file that was cut down doesnt play on my computer (maybe thats just my system) i hope the one that got sent actually works for you guys...if it doesnt i know there is hardly any time left but some PLEASE...PLEASE contact me (or LN lmao coz he has more clue than me ;))
Unfortunately, it doesn't play on mine either. And since Say doesn't have Flash 8, I seriously doubt it will on hers.
Try to convert it to a .SWF, .EXE, .MPG, .AVI, .MOV and then Zip or Rar the file so that it's under 5MB.

GAH! I forgot about the midnight thing until about 30 minutes ago and now I can't get my software stuff to work! *implodes and goes back to trying* XD

Hehe yeah, I only got the Fan's Quest 45 minutes before the deadline and it was missing a *.dll, so there wasn't any time for me to play it or even discuss it with Say (who also loved it BTW ;D).
Bushie's Mote was awesome! XD How long did it take you to make that, Bushie?
And of course Kimmie, your video was so awesome it had to make it. It was originally 12MB I think, and even though I was able to convert it to a .swf, it was still 10MB (probably because I didn't use the right conversation settings :P). So, I uploaded it to my Google Video account instead. :) But to comment on the vid itself, I actually had Girl in the Tower stuck in my head for hours hahahahah! XD
