I just curious about all the ages of you all...I myself am 19
I'm 18 and a half. Probably a bit younger than many of the girls here, but a guy can dream, right. ;)
Oh, it's another one of those "let's make Storm feel old" threads :'(
23 here!
I'm 17 ...and I turn 18 next January.
I'm a Summer Baby!!!!!(well Australian summer), when I went to the US it was fun...and weird having my birthday in winter.
I'm soo glad Takiri is 19! I taught she was older, it's nice not being the littlelist girl.8)
Im 20, my bday is on july 7th
well ladies!... bushie is 18 and darn cute! ::)
lol! ;D
Im not saying just because hes my friend, is true! :)
Say - are you playing matchmaker here?
Anyway, I'm way too old for him... and I don't go with goyim :P

Hey, Jesus Christ was Jewish! So that means I have a Jewish brother, then. Does that count? ;)
Nope. Judaism is determined only by the mother, so you're only jewish if your mother is or if you converted.:-/
I was just kidding about not going for goyim... I really don't mind. Do goyim mind going for jews? ???
*hugz*
your welcome! :)
Storm, I don't think so! Maybe some people would, but I don't see religion as much of an obstacle in relationships, as long as a few things are made clear (ie holy days, when it's not a good time to go out, or something ;)). But I did read up a bit more about the whole intermarriage thing. Is it true all around that when Jewish people marry goyim, they become dead in the eyes of Judaism? Maybe the effect is a bit less in America, but it worries me just a bit. If i fall in love with a Jewish girl, I don't want to mess up her life totally.
Oh, well. If only there were one humongous religion, with subsets. The subsets would merely be different ways of worshipping the major faith. I suspect that all religions have pretty much most of the same faith (ie be good, be nice to others, etc), so I still cannot understand why there is still so much friction between religions when that truth is increasingly becoming clearer.
Jews marrying goyim don't necessarily become dead in the eyes of their families... it depends on how religious/primitive their family is.
It's not that the jews hate goyims or anything. Mixed marriages are prohibited because they are "dangerous" to the jewish religion - they cause the assimilation of the jews into the goyim and the loss of Jewish tradition.
That's why some orthodox families might cast out those who marry goyim - it's like they are going against everything they've been taught.
But then, the same families might also cast out those who become secular :-/
Hey, we should start the religion thread again... ;)
Yeah, good idea. *rushes off and makes one* ;D
I think I'll post on that religion thing in a minute.
But for records, I'm 22 and my bday is June 16. Go me! ;D
Pesant Girl, you thought I was OLDER? Man, have you seen my picture! I look like I'm about 15! (well, maybe I look a little older in the pic, but In real life, I'm often mistaken for being about 15). Just curious, how old did you think I was?
I thought you were about 22 or something..........no reason, just a lot of girls in that age group seem to hang around here.:)
Where is your pic. ? I like seening what people look like.
16. Don't let my age fool you, though.
I have a few pics:
http://www.dark-stars.net/freak/Andrea1.JPG
http://www.dark-stars.net/freak/Andrea2.JPG
http://www.dark-stars.net/freak/Andrea3.JPG
And, yes, the.jpg MUST be capitals, My diectory is case sensitive, and MS paint sucks and makes extentions capitals, and I dont waste time fixing them.
And bonus points to anyone who can answer: What's my name?
:D :D :D Now Boarding the Mr. Cheesy Express :D :D :D
ANDREA! ;D
what did I win!? what did I win?!
::)
OK, you've all been to my site, saw my pic.
How old do I look? ???
Hmmm... hard to say. I don;t know too many people from that culture, but I'd guess around 20-23. Definitely less than 25. If I'm wrong, let me know.
Oh, and I know this one Russian lady in one of my classes who looks really young but is married, has a kid, and has a very refined English accent. Of course, I can't ask her age since that's impolite, but she doesn't seem to be a day over 22, heck, she looks almost 18! How do you tell age when there is no standard?
At any rate, Storm still looks youthful...
Hmmm..I would say 25 or older. That's a guess based from the photo, but also because from reading your posts I can tell you are older than some of us (more mature, specifically the discussions that got going on religion pointed this out to me), but clearly aren't a bitter old fogie ;-)
Heck, I'm old!;D Hello there youngsters! 8)
29, b'day November 13. But then again, when you see me beard-less (yes, I don't (need to) shave every day), I'd be around 25, is my guess (without my moustache probably even younger). I look younger than I am, my mind is also younger than my age, so everything is in perfect order, the only problem is my birth date, it came several years too soon. :P
Say, you get a free ride on the Mr. Cheesy Express train!
Storm is 21 I think, she doesnt look old to me AT ALL, to be honest I never seen her a someone old or something, I consider Storm being an interesting girl, rather than call her somewhat old, I would prefer to think shes smart and witty instead, nothing wrong with that at all :)
I would have NEVER guessed copycat's age, he certainly have a great spirit and a shocking personality alright! :)
Popyckok! Storm....you keep going on how old you are! Really, I saw your pic and would never even think of you being old! (DUH!!!!!)
You look like a nice intelligent young girl!:)
Takiri, you look sooooo American, I mean you have that big beautiful, beaming US smile!!8)
Bushie, Russian women always look very young! It must be in their genes. While an Italian girl of 13 can look like she's 17 or 18 a Russian girl will look just '13'. I should know!;D
WOW, so many compliments in one thead... my head is starting to swell :-[
Thanks everyone! ;D
Copycat -
I'm glad SOMEONE here is older than me... I was starting to feel like the only geezer around here :D
btw, utill you made that beard remark I was pretty sure you're a girl :-[... it's your fault for selecting a Sigorney Weaver film title for a nick ::)
The pic on my site was taken when I was 21, all those years ago.. :P
It's not how old you are, it's how old you feel. And hanging around here makes me feel really OLD... ::)
WHAT?!
Storm, how old are you?
I thought you were 21
Storm, I don't mind being the patriarch of the family here. ;D
Let's keep this family together, my children! (wait, that can't be right, I'm not THAT old. :P )
I picked that nick long before I knew about the film with the same name. It's also always nice to see which gender everyone thinks I am by just reading my posts. But, never mind, I think it's the amount of female hormones in my blood which prevent my beard from growing too fast so...
And just for the record, I feel 25, at most.
well neither of you sounds old over here anyways ;D
I'm 22, but I feel and look a lot younger. Bleh. I don't want to grow up! Bushie, if you're 18, then at least I could date you without getting in trouble. :P I don't know, I had a "mate" at a dragon board that was 18 in real life, but we ended the relationship when he went to college. Maybe we could be friends at first, like penpals?
oh hey hey hey bushie!! hahaha there you go stud ;)
Oh no, Dragonstar, he's ALL mine!
So bushie, wanna travel up to Mass and take me out on a date? I'll pay! :D
oh hahahaha, go bushie go :D !
one hell of a catch alright! ;)
LOL, now it's looking like we're running a dating service more than computer game... :suffer:
YEAH GIRLS!!! 8)
Better catch him quick before he goes bad :D
Need I say anything more about the female/male ratio around here? :P
LOL, I can see the headline now:
Freeware computer game design team pulls publicity stunt in the form of an online dating auction to gain exposure
Story at 11!
Yeah we need more guys, so we can each have one!
BTW where is bushie? Haven't seen him lately...
Male in his 23, project director of KQ9, latin accent, loves to pick up on Storm and Say, weirdo, extraweirdo seeks.......
WHATEVER
;D
LOL! We will note that Cesar is apparentally not picky ;D
LOL! Maybe we could launch a poll telling is how much boys there are and how much girls? Maybe we can somehow reach 10 %? ;D
I wonder if the KQ series has more female fans than male fans? Hmm, any other guys want to go out? Cesar, I just my be interested in you, you handsome masked stud....Then again considering that you're kind of like my "boss" that might be weird.
Hey Look! it's Gatomon! She's my fave! (along with Patamon and Renamon, of course)
To all you guys...Invite some cute friends to the boards, they dont HAVE to be a KQ fan...half the time we talk about other things anyway...Like Killer monkeys and batman and nakie angels and Alex's Bum..wait...that DOES have to do with KQ! :P
I'm 19 and a cutie too! and SAY! She's BEAUTIFUL!! :-D
IM NOT! hahahah Kenny IS cutie alright ;)
Oh what do you look like SAY? I've always wondered.....here's the picture I get in my head when I think of you:
You must be slim and tall with latin skin(in other words: tanned)
You have long straight dark hair
Am I right?....am I wrong?:-[
Anyway, YOu must be a really nice person, because I always associate SAY with NICE!:)
I think I'm the longest here----17
turning to 18 this September.
Nina,
Im 5'10'', Im really whitey (im not tanned at all even though Im latin, its just I got some european background that it does shows), 146 lbs, long loooooong black hair and light brown eyes, thats how I look like, I could email you a pic if you like :)
ANYTHING for my sweetie nina :) aka my adopted virtual cute daughter ;)
THANK YOU for always being so sweet with me, I really apprecciate it, makes me feels special :)

well you are right about not being the littlelist... I turn 16 this april...
hehe kinda nice to know I am not a dinosaur errr I mean old dude... hmmm what I ment is... well you know, I am young and you all are... bah, never mind =P
hey!!!!
Im not a dinosaur!!!
damn, hehe I hope copycat or storm wont read this, or you would bring them down alright :P
Too late... already down :'(
hey thats ok, not all the dinosaurs extinced, I mean the crocodiels are still walking on earth (this aint helping does it?)
HAHAHAHAH, oh god, I do feel old now ;D
Well, at the moment I officially feel old! Dropped by at a party at BC (Boston College, where I graduated last year) that some friends were having (okay, some friends, some ex-boyfriends I hate....you get the idea! heheh) and....yeah! I was feeling my age! It's amazing how fast you can grow out of that scene....though I was amused by some drunk girls. One of the funniest things I find people do when drunk....continuously talk about how drunk they are. It's so funny ::)
SO yeah...I'm feeling slightly "dinosaur-esque" myself right now!! This from a girl dating a guy two years younger than her.... :P
yeah once you start feeling a bit odd from all those things or just like you -exactly- said katie, grow from it, its like hahha you start to feel old and acward at some point because sometimes you grow out of it but the people you hang out with doesnt at some point so its a bit odd.
I actually never was part of that group thing, i mean big party gangs and getting wasted and everything, but I grew up more than my group of friends in college REALLY quick because I started to maintain myself from a very long time, I live with my parents still yes, but I do support myself and the house money, and I try to pay up my college too, which is REALLY expensive because its a private one, and I got a different vision about money and time big time, and also about responsabilities, thats why I felt I grew up perhaps not fast but different from the rest I'm in, lots of spoiled rich kids, partying from thuesday to saturday and stuff :(
that does gives me more of a loner situation, I got real jobs too, and I got other responsabilites that hardly anyone get to share with me so yeah I feel old old old when it comes to it, everyone is checking when they go to the beach and have fun while im always thinking about money, and work, and clients and even about kq :)
hehe, its not like I dont have any responsabilites... I may be the youngest here but I would like to go to 1st grade again! what I miss the most was being responsability-less and allways being the cutest in my family

Yeah, those were the good days...
And also the days when I got more Christmas presents too! ;D
haha, well, the group I was hanging out with last night when I "felt old" was an acting group I was in while in school. They're great people and all, but I was just kinda like, yeah....I kinda grew out this stage!
There are some people I know I've grown up more than...but once I graudated, I was kind of forced into doing a LOT of "growing up" right away....got dumped by a guy I was totally in love with (whom I now consider the Ultimate Evil in the world, hehe), had no job, couldn't move out of my house...it just kept getting worse and worse!! But that's all passed now and I'm much beter off anyways. But yeah, there are some things that just age you a lot more. All that stuff you've accomplished is really impressive!! And here I thought it was big that I'm paying off school loans with my own money, heh.8)
Bushie! You should have come to visit me! I'm about 10-15 minutes from Lawrence! We faught over you again while you were gone...Don't you feel lucky?
8)
Yeah, I feel pretty lucky to have all these beautiful ladies fighting over me.
It's too bad we didn't have much free time back in Lawrence, maybe I woulda visited you or something. I would've had to walk, though, since they would wonder if the van disappeared. ;)
Maybe if I go back up there again? After all, my family goes up to New Hampshire once or twice a year...
Though it would be a little weird to meet someone in the real world that I only know from the internet, but that's just the concept that would be weird. Maybe if I said you were a pen pal of mine or something? That would count. ;)
yeah yeah yeah, when male friends get all high over girls! friends gets forgotten!!! yeah yeah :).
well hahaha enjoy your moment ;)
go bushie go!! :P
friends get forgotten? where did that come from?
I never forget my friends...
Hmm... let's see...
I'll fly to Massachusetts for TakariFreak, swing around to Israel to see Storm, then go to Venezuela for a bit to have fun with Say, fly back to the US into Florida for a rendezvous with Dragonstar, and make it back to Virginia in time for dinner.
;)
Would be fun though... I haven't really seen the world yet!
Haha Bushie goes around the world in 80 minutes!
Say:
Quoteswing around to Israel to see Storm
what about me?! =(
hehe, I dont think its weird, it depends how well you get along with that person or how long you knew him/her.
This summer I am going to las vegas and at the same time a girl I know from some online computer game will be there too
I was never into partying, I don't like alcohol. Bushie's around the world trip sounds fun, I'd love to go around the world. I have got to get a boyfriend, I'm getting so lonely for lack of male company. I'm shy, so it's hard. Bloody, i think your tag is really cute.
I've met so many people from here!!!, I mean from internet, that at some points we are friends forever and after the year is so is that we consider meeting in person or something, Im really thankful I can get so lucky to meet so many interesting people over here, I really am :)!!
Ive met friends, not so good friends :P and even clients over here. :)

Okay, okay. If I ever do go on a world tour (a remote possibility) maybe you, Storm, and I could have some lunch somewhere then. I'm not too sure if I'd go out of my way to see Cesar, though. ;)
you know guys, speaking of it did you know the directors met last year? :)
they planned a meeting in NY and they all -finally- met in person :)
Cool. It's good to have a face to face talk once in a while during projects.
Oh, and Israel is really really dangerous to go at the moment, but Venezuela is apparently safer (and a bit cheaper since it's not as far). I could visit you, Say, for $600.
Now to earn the money...
;)
its really really sweet you even think about that anyways :)
I mean visiting me :)
hahahaha, that actually doesnt makes it more bearable or nice to go to, its really sad its more dangerous to drive than the place itself, either way its really wrong.
Say.....thanks for the description, and yes I would love to see a picture of you! I'll try and send you one of me.
I've had a pretty rough time these past few weeks. My mum had a baby and I'm kinda living in this emotional world!!!!!! I love my new brother, but my mum is really emotional and fuuuulllll of melodrama!!!!!!!!!!!! I know there is probability of wars and that society is colllapsing...and .....blah...blah....blah, but i just can't take any more negative stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-[
I can't believe people are such idiots as to try to go into another war!!!!!!!!
Anyway I want my mum to pray about it and not talk to me about it, because I can't stannnnnndddddddd it!!!!!!!
oh nina haha, your so sweet, well I understand your about to go insane with your mom since shes so emotional and sensitive about things now, but you have to support her and be there for her, and dont worry whatever it may happen lets just pray that it happens for the best ;)
your too young to be worrying about those things! :)
That's nice to know! I ammmm supporting my mom...I love her!!!!
It's just hard, you know!
Peasant_girl -
Aren't you a bit too far to be worried about the war? I mean, it's not like you're going to get shot at ;)
Hey guess what? Israel SUX!!!! the war started and they didnt cancle school!!! f*** the system!!! (Limor Livnat Ha Mefageret!) instead we need to carry the gas masks with us! BAH!!!
star, I am a shy person too... but I know this girl for a long time and I dont think meating her would be bad... well I am a bit nervous about it =P
and Say, about this girl I was talking about before... hehe guess what? she had a boy friend! thank god I didnt ask her out or anything cuz as I know it her boyfriend is hmmm how shell I say this... HUGE! =P
I'm worried about my friends online, like you and Storm, that live in dangerous places. I'll pray for you tonight, and try to every night. I am angry at my government, you'd think the American government would learn the lesson about war that the Europeans did, war doesn't bring peace, it just brings more war. But there's nothing we can do about it, the war will officially start today or tomorrow. Instead of messing with Iraq, we should help out Israel and Afghanistan. Oil is too blame for this mess, a different fuel source should be used, either electric, hydro power, or solar power. One thing's for sure, Bush is NOT getting my vote next election. I here all these planes passing over my house, and it has me worried, but if they're American planes, that clams be a bit. I guess they have to got hrough Florida to get to the Middle East.
They should have canceled school. Hang in there, Bloodyhonor, Peasant girl. Times are tough now but they will get better.
Same sentiments here. School should totally have been cancelled.
::sigh:: If it's going to happen, I at least hope that the politicians are right that it will be over quickly so everything can move, heopfully in a more positive direction.
Take care of yourselves guys!!! We'll be praying you stay safe. {{{{}}}}}
Heck, they should just cancel this school semester entirely.
I'd like a fresh semester... at least with what's happened over here, what with the giant snowstorms and the war panic, that would be nice.
But yeah, Israel definitely needs that a lot more.

Good to read there are still Americans who
know why the Europeans ('cept the British government, the Spanish government and a lot of Eastern (formerly USSR)-countries, but they don't know any better yet) oppose the war in Iraq. And behold, I can already see what I predicted (though that may not have been on this forum, I frequent several), when the first bodybags are going to come home, the support for the war will decrease. And the more bodybags and the more time this war will take, the less Bush's support will get.
Peasant_Girl: fanatical Christians have killed enough Muslims in the past (cfr. Crusades). Fanatism is
never good, not in any religion.
You can say that again!
If there is one thing about Americans, it is they the love to spend money (no matter who it belongs to), and that, in gerneral, we are dumb. yes, dumb. No people have less common sense and general brains than the average American.
Does that explain the actions of the American government?

Yep, it all makes perfect sense. But then again, I always knew what Bush represented. And, too sad, it all came true. :(
And I'm sure it's known to all, but the americans on THIS board don't fall into that category (who could call freaks and geeks like us "average" anyhow? :D ). It's all those OTHER people that give GOOD Americans a bad rep. When my brother went to school in england a few years, he was amazed at how much they make fun of Americans (but you can't really blame them, when speaking in general).
It's also funny how threads evolve around here...
How the heck did we get to talking politics again? ???
This topic really needs its own thread!
*goes off to make one*

All of you must be REALLY naive if you think the europeans oppose the war in Iraq on some peace-loving pacifict principles. The europeans or the UN didn't lift a finger to stop wars or massacres much closer to their home than this one (ie. Afganistan). :(
The truth is, most of the war opposition in europe and other countries is lead by Islamic groups, who use it as a cause to attack not only the US but Israel as well. The way Islam is spreading in Europe, It's not surprising that the largest opposition to the war is in France, where the largest concentration of muslims is.
Just think about it - if it's only the welfare of the Iraqi people they're after, wouldn't they want to see them released from a tyrant like Saddam, whose been known to use mass destruction weapons against his own citizens? And why did some countries in Europe refuse the US initiative to send aid to Iraq, saying it would go against the anti-war position? don't they care about the Iraqies more?
The Islamic leaders of the anti-war protest are using the liberal-pacifict tendencies of the european public opinion for their own purposes.
If it's not so, why would they go out to ram Israel, a country which isn't even involved in this war?
The protest leaders would not admit so public, but I've seen the signs they carry in those anti-war demonstrations, blaming Israel for the war. Some Islamic/Arab extremists even go to saying the jews in the white house are behind the war. It's probably the same people who blamed 9/11 on the jews (yes, there are people like that). This is a bitter reminder for darker days, when the jews were blamed for causing WWI (and later WWII) :(
moving to the politics thread...
