This is going to be awesome! I still haven't read the novels, but have heard a lot about them from Zelly, who has read them many times.
They are however on my list of next books to read, but I go through books slowly, so it might be awhile. I'll try to read the original trilogy before the movie is released though.
The fact that I'm a major D&D fanboy adds to my excitement for this as well. XD
The movie is only on the first book but I'm sure after you've read the first one you'll want to read the next two and the second trilogy is ever better.

Not very many books turned into movies share the success of LOTR and the Potters especially in the fantasy genre.
I still will have to see it though.
Any word on if they are doing Winter Night, Spring Dawning, and the Twins trillogy if this one does okay? I hate when movie companies start a series, but never finish it.
No word yet and I agree with you that normally most fantasy books don’t translate well but my expectations are higher for this because of how involved Margaret and Tracy seem to be in the design and script. <3 :thumbsup:
If Margaret and Tracy have the final say in the development, then there's no reason for the movie to be yucky. ;D

I haven't read the Narnia books yet but I have read all but the latest Drizzt books.
