Oooh, lucky gal, Say! I'm only 5'7". :( My roomie's 5'10, and complains he's too short, but I think he's perfect. I like being on eye level with a guy, not too much taller or shorter. My ex-boyfriend was 6'2", and that was kinda too tall, although he was still a cutie.

although in girls its a bit over the average but I dont feel like a giant or special about it :P

I'm only 5'9"   :'(  But it's ok, I've been this height for the past few years so I've gotten used to it now.  I guess it's average, but I still think the average guy is taller than me.   ;D

Actually, I was teasing about the short thing because of me dressing up as a hobbit.  I'm just the right height for me, 5' 7".

How do I go from meters and centimeters to your height system?

What I already do know, is that I'm on the short side. Always was the smallest one in class, as far as boys were concerned ofcourse. No problem though, makes it easy for me to hide amongst the crowd, or slip by someone else.

Actually, an inch is a bit more than just 2.5, it's actually 2.54 cm to an inch. So 12" in 1' is not possible when the ' is an inch and the ' is a ft. 12 x 2.54 = 30,48.  I know, it's not much difference, but I'm a bookkeeper IRL, I have to keep an eye on the decimals.
Anyway, I'm either 167 or 169 cm, so that would make my height about the same of Jeysie's. If ' was 30 cm and " 2.5 I'd be 5'  7"-ish, right? Told you I was small! 8)

I dated a girl quite a bit taller than me.  WAY back Freshmen (or was it Sophomore) in HS.  I was 5'5" or 5'6" then and she was 5'10" or 5'11" (I don't remember exactly).  She was an amazon (like secsay Say).

Of course, we broke up because we realized we were better friends than anything else - there wasn't much chemistry.  We've stayed friends to this day.  Junior year she freaked me out because she pulled me aside and told me she needed to tell me something very important - I thought she was dying.  I thought she was going to tell me that she had some sort of disease.  It took her two hours to tell me that she believed she was gay!  When she finally got that out I was like "That's it?  That's all???  OMG!  I thought you were dying or something!!!  You're gay!  That's great!  That's not a big deal.  We can go looking for girls together (she has GREAT taste in women)."  She laughed.  She felt relieved and then came out and all was well.  Ah - high school.

Heh. I never quite understood the obsession with ultra-huge breasts. Maybe it's just because I lack the hormonal bias, but I've always found the sight of breasts larger than the woman's physique would naturally warrant to be rather ugly. Large breasts are nice, but only if they fit with the rest of the woman's build, instead of making it look like she'd snap in half if you tapped her shoulders too hard to one side. And very few skinny girls have naturally large breasts, it's usually just the fat/chubby and/or big-boned girls, which most men don't seem to like. ;)

Heh. Honestly, I decided a while ago that getting all worked up over a guy who's being a real perv isn't worth it. I mean, think about it... no woman worth getting is going to go with a guy who acts like that to her. So I just shrug it off and laugh at what a moron the guy is being. If you do feel the need to say something, just go over and say something like "You know, you might almost be cute, but there's no way in Hell a girl as fine with me would get with a guy acting like you. So you should learn to shape up, or sleep alone." Then just walk off. ;D

Or you could even have some fun playing along with it. I got many afternoons of enjoyment as a teen playing with the mind of this one guy who used to always try to get me to sleep with him. :suffer:

Before you think ill of me, I'd never, ever play with a guy who I thought genuinely liked me... I've had far too much unrequited love myself to ever do that to someone, plus being cruel isn't in my nature. But honestly, if a guy is busy just thinking with his pants, I don't feel bad messing with his head (the one on his shoulders, natch) a bit.

Hee. Well, I don't have a problem with somebody scoping me out... how else you gonna engage in a bit of flirting? I meant the guys who really go overboard with the leering and catcalling, where it's blatantly obvious they're solely looking for someone to engage in the "horizontal polka" with. ;) I mean, even "nice guys" want sex at some point (well, the vast majority, anyway), but at least "nice guys" are interested in limiting said friskiness to the right person to spend non-bed-romp time with as well. ;D

I totally love men... I'm definitely not the nutso militant feminist type who plants a steel toe in any guy who even looks at her. I do like when a guy thinks I'm pretty.

But I wouldn't humiliate or disrespect a guy.

Yeah, that's the most important thing! I always respect people I'm around, though it's tricky with people who downcast me. I may rub elbows with a girl sometimes ;), but I still give her plenty of respect and I don't leer obtrusively.

"R-E-S-P-E-C-T, do you have respect for me?" -can't remember the singer though. :P

Some girls make me wonder what kind of respect they want, though. Apparently last year a girl dressed up in clear Saran wrap and nothing else one day, and there was a crowd of guys around her staring. I missed it though, probably because I have a natural tendency to avoid crowds... ::)

Heh. I always wonder about those women who wear scanty clothing and then whine because men are staring at them. I don't fall into the "She was asking for it" camp, but seriously, if you don't want to be stared at, why exactly are you walking around with your "assets" in near-full display?

Granted, in hot weather you may not want to wear as much. But there are ways to dress to keep yourself cool without looking "saucy", if you so desire. (I should know, I've employed many of them myself.) And if you have skin showing, well... anyone with hormones is going to stare at someone with a lot of skin showing, whether it's a man or woman doing the staring, or a man or woman being stared at. If you're attractive, what's wrong with other people looking at you, anyway? You could wrap yourself in a cocoon and never let anyone except your family and spouse see *any* part of you at all, but where's the fun in that?

I personally dress modestly, but flatteringly. I seldom wear stuff with even a moderate amount of skin showing (mostly because the flashiness inherent in showing a lot of skin doesn't suit my dislike for the spotlight), but I try to buy stuff cut to flatter my shape. I'll let the vast majority enjoy the basic way I look, if they are of the mind to do so, and save the real show for a guy I really like. And like I said, I don't have much personal use for my breasts, so somebody else may as well like them. Let the guys in general stare, and a guy I really like... well, ya know. ;) Why should I get uptight? I have more important things to worry about. I think people need to get a grip about sexuality in general. I don't think it's a good idea to treat sexuality as something completely casual to share freely with anyone, but neither is it good to treat it as completely bad.

I agree, sexuality in general is good, at least when shared with the right person and not given out like candy.

well usually as I've seen the woman that wear that way its becuase they wanna be seen alright! :D but some of those that care to show too much no matter what, tend to fall into terms as erm... trashy or slutty when they over do it  :-X

I personally strongly dislike concepts as trashy, slutty and even like... erm... -showing way too much- sort of like? :P, Im very picky about how I look, Im a freak taking care of my hair, my skin, and yeah also my clothing, and I tend to avoid tendencies that as to put it nicely, just doesnt quite is my style  :-\, thats perhaps why I avoid it a bit myself, I think thats a lame attempt to get attention, and as very well you guys said, you can be sexy and attractive in so many ways that... why to do such thing anyways?, I so cant understand those kind of women myself  :-\
plus sexuality its not in what you wear, its in how you are ;)

Aretha Franklin.

I like dressing nice and knowing I look sexy, but I don't want to nor do I dress to look slutty.  Gotta have some mystery there to still look good and make them interested in more! And to have to work to know you for that, too! ;-)

Well, sometimes a good butt is hard to find. And harder to see. I mean, with girls, there it is, right out for everyone to see, here's my chest! And it makes it easier for the perv guys to have a conversation without hardly looking at you. now what would they think if we had conversations and never stopped looking at their crotch or something? Sheesh!

Power to the classy sexy ladies, girlz!

Actually, that reminds me of one day when me and a few of my gal pals were walking along playing an impromptu game of "Have you ever?". One gal asked, "Have you ever looked at a guy and wondered... ya know... how big he is down there?" We all sheepishly raised our hands. <G>

My own experience, I find it flattering when someone "looks me over", either male or female (especially female - he he he).  If someone finds me attractive, I'll take it as a compliment.  A quick look is what I'm talking about.  Not the ridiculous staring at you like you are a piece of meat.
Living in NYC, I get scoped out by WAY too many GUYS.  Like I said, I have no problem with them glancing.  I will look at them and smile - thank you for thinking me attractive.  And I move on.  It's when they STARE........and same with women.  When they STARE..............like they are undressing me with their eyes.  You can almost see what they're thinking - it's as if their eyes have become tiny television sets and you can see the porno playing out.  Not my cup of tea.  I don't like it and I won't do it to anyone else.  Besides, I watched a guy staring at a girl intensely as she walked by.  He turned around to look at her from behind as she kept walking.  While he did this, he was still moving forward and he wasn't looking where he was going.  He ran into a no parking sign.  Slammed right into it and fell to the ground.  I laughed so hard.

This doesn't mean I don't look ;).  Women are beautiful - pretty much every shape and size.  I love to look.  And I like to make eye contact with someone I find attractive and smile at them.  If they smile back - bonus.
I am happily married to Amy and she never has to fear me suddenly running off with someone - I have absolutely no desire to do so and never will (I'm very certain of this).  I can't even imagine my life without her.  But I will look.  And so will she (and she does).  I think it's healthy, natural and FUN :D.

After all, we are God's artwork. Should we not enjoy seeing his creations? ;)

I don't think I've ever been looked over by guys, that's kinda disturbing. :P But then, I'm a tad homophobic when it comes to blatantly homosexual acts like a guy staring at me or some weird guy trying to get a little too "close" to me. :P:P:P:P:P I prefer girls any day, they have better cushioning. ;)

Love is sooo much more than just attraction and it is hard to find that unique conection, its not just what you want and what and what you need what this person has to have, should also have the will to make things though, since nothing its easy its not just to find something precious, I think the hardest part its to make it grow and keep it, so when you do, its not to give things for granted but more like you do know who is next to you and what this person means to you leading to the fact to show yourself true and honest about your own feelings to that someone, if both sides click so good then they are a team so whatever happens that sort of things mean nothing at all since whats buildt its just better than that.

I can safely say really big breasts absolutely do not appeal to me. Normal proportions is just fine for me too, no problem. Besides, the first thing I look at is not the breasts, but the head, and more especially the hair. ;) After that I go down to the face, and take a quick glance on the rest of her body, but most definitely I will never stare at a woman's breasts, especially not if I'm talking to her.

Every relationship needs to grow. As I get to know the other one better, I also reveal more personal information about myself, it evolves. The more I feel at ease, the more information I let out, but there are always some things that are absolutely personal/private so they remain in my own posession. And, ofcourse, different situations call for different behaviour, that's only normal.

That sounds a little like me with men. First thing I notice about a guy is his hair, then his smile, then his eyes. (Then his voice, although that's obviously not a visual thing.) I honestly actually almost never really look at a guy's body. The only time a guy's body really registers with me is if it's extremely *something*, extremely tall or short, extremely skinny or fat, extremely built, etc. In which case, the fact that it's attracted my attention is probably not a good thing.

/me wonders whether his body is extremely skinny. Thinks about taking another picture of him in full.
Not even a glance at the body Jeysie? Surely, if you see someone's body is "extreme" you must have glanced.

Which is why I said "almost never really look". :) I notice a guy's shape kind of in the same way I would notice, say, a wall... I see it, but it doesn't really impinge upon my conscious thinking unless there's something extremely eye-catching about it (whether in a good way or a bad way).

I do notice the way a guy dresses, as in his style of clothing. Although I'm not a fashionista... I mostly just care about whether he's dressed appropriately to the situation, and if he's neat and clean.

I will admit I do start eventually noticing a guy's body more once I've known him for a while... for instance, I think my roomie has cute legs. ;) But it's still not a big deal to me. I'm more a tactile and aural-oriented person ('specially the former), not a visual one, when it comes to men and intimacy, anyway. Ironically, I'm more visually-oriented when it comes to everything else.

Hee.

Well, hairy legs on guys isn't a big deal. Especially light-haired guys. Actually, hairy legs on women isn't a big deal either, it's just that Western society has become "programmed" to find that unappealing. (Although I'll admit my pants feel a lot more comfy after I've shaved, so it's not entirely just a cosmetic thing.)

I don't have any hair aversions myself, as long as women don't have handlebar mustaches. ;) Of course, a semi-decent hairdo is a must too, there are some hairdos that make me wonder where they came from (though they could be culture-based).
