Do you feel that the Nintedno DS's alternative input methods has the opportunity to enhance or hinder the Adventure Genre?

I think there's definite scope for DS adventure games to be greatly enhanced by the multitude of input methods and features (Microphone, touch screen, wifi et al) as long as developers don't use them JUST because they can. It's got to be the right fit for the game.

Definitely enhance. One of the problems that many people have had with adventure games was that they were too boring in terms of input, especially in comparison with console games. :P
It would be a lot more interactive to use the microphone for voice puzzles, or to be able to personalize your character in-game. Touch screen too would be pretty interesting to use as opposed to point-and-click. 8)
I wouldn't know I don't play them.
Enhance! Take Trace Memory for example, at one point you blow into the microphone to blow the dust off an old painting, really cool. :D
