I'm re-listening to it now - OK, Graham's theme is more "majestic" than sad, but Alexander's and Rosella's are definatly melancholic, depressing, down-beat, and SAD, any way you slice it.
I hope the rest of the music in the game isn't that depressing... :-/
Does copyright issues preventing you from using musical arrangements from other KQs (like Tierra did on KQ2+), or did you decide to go for originallity and write new themes?
My goodness! You keep this up and I'm going to start begging for the game!!! I know it's going to take a while but do we even have a time frame? I wouldn't be surprised it it takes a LOT longer (I believe I remember reading somewhere that everyone works on the game only in their spare time), but you have at least one person who is ready for the game! It looks and sounds great so far!!!

well I agree with bloody honor, I dont quite consider the themes sad, I think its about to match up their personalities so somehow i believe the opinion about the songs have a different meaning for everyone, even more to fans who happen to have an attachement to the game.
btw there is a lot of interesting music besides the ones published here, are you guys -ever- going to keep adding themes to the site?

I've been thinking... what could be worse than being a wizard slave boy? than I came up with the following theory about the KQ9 plot:
Having failed to restore Manannan back to his human form, the members of the BCS somehow found a way to tranfer his spirit into Alexander's body!!! :o :o :o
I know I must be totaly off, but that DOES settle nicely with Cesar's obsession for "duality" and with Dragonstar saying she gave out stuff from the plot on her fanfic... :D :D
