I just thought of this, and I think it'd be a cool idea. Basically, it's like a book club, except with movies. Each week or two, us forumers decide on a movie to rent/watch and then we discuss it!
Rules:
Movie must be rated PG-13 (or corresponding rating if you don't live in the US) or lower, just so all forumers can participate.
Also, the movie must be rentable.
Be open to any and all kinds of movies!
You don't always have to participate.
What do you guys think of this? I REALLY like movies so I'm up for it, but if nobody else wants to do it, I'll just watch all the movies I have on DVD in some random order.
Sounds cool to me! :D Since I just got Netflix, I can rent movies now.
Sounds like a great idea! ;D
Yay! We just need to decide on the first movie. I just TiVo-ed BeetleJuice, anybody interested in using that?
When I hear PG, I think of kids cartoons like Disney. Now I feel like watching Disney cartoons... you rotten buggers. :P
Sounds like a fantastic idea, possum! I'll definately take part in this.

Wow... I saw that movie ages ago! I barely remember much about it now, other than it being pretty odd. XD
I saw it within the last year, so while I might not be able to watch it this week, I'll gladly participate with what I remember :P Great idea!
BTW, I did just finish watching Princess Bride, Ella Enchanted, and 10th Kingdom :P
So is the first one Beetlejuice? I haven't watched that in quite a long time.

Yes, lets say that the first one is Beetle Juice. Lets give it two weeks, if you've watched it, post here to say that you have and once we have a good amount of people who've seen it, we can discuss it.
*ahem* This is a good idea that should not be let die. :P
Well, I've watched Beetlejuice relatively recently! XD I remember the movie scaring me when I was little and now I'm just watching it and laughing. XD
Oh jeez I forgot about this, I need to watch Beetlejuice, been awhile.
Recently I bought a real old story: The black cauldron.
I believe it was the first movie I saw in theater
Cool. I haven't seen Black Cauldron in sooo long.
In terms of Beetlejuice, I thought it was so-so. It was really weird and slightly funny at times, but mostly weird.
Well Tim Burton remains weird to this day, but his early stuff, like Beetlejuice, is definitely weirder XD

Yeah, Beetlejuice is really weird. I'm a big Tim Burton fan though, my favorites are Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, and Sweeney Todd. I've made it a goal to watch all of his stuff, so I have Batman Returns rented now.
Goes for the sword in the stone. (http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=9qS4ONoAh00&feature=related)
GOTTA love Sword in the Stone!
That's one of the few Disneymovies that can't hold my attention throughout the entire movie. It's a good one, but I just can't get it.
Was that the movie with the squirrels?
Yes, that was definitely the movie with the squirrels.
Yeah I always feel horrible for the girl squirrel when he turns back into a boy.
She's a specieist.
