I've heard rumor of Bioware starting work on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3, which is awesome news, because the first two are definately my FAVORITE RPGs of all time! :) Official announcement may come soon....
I like KOTOR, but I hate the battle system. I don't play many RPGs, so it's probably just me, but the battle system is completely unrealistic. I do enjoy the game despite though. It's definitely a gem of any gamers collection. I hope KOTOR 3 works out. I had no idea that Bioware made the game though. I thought it was Lucas Arts (perhaps their just publishing it... I have no clue...)
Bioware had an announcement a few months back about a joint venture between Lucas arts and Bioware. They didn't say what it was, and maybe it is this, but I'm looking forward to finding out what they are working on.

Cool. I know that LucasArts has some affiliation with George Lucas (at least I thought it did... XD ROFLOL) so it would make sense that they'd either make or publish these Star Wars games.
Sorry, I spoke too soon. Bioware spoke up and said it wasn't KOTOR 3 that is their next game being produced by LucasArts.....We can only hope it's something just as good AND that they'll still do KOTOR 3 laterz.
My sources tell me that that've talked about doing a KOTOR 3. And if you're wondering, my "sources" in this case happen to be Gamespot... I just like to say I've got sources... but anyway, gamespot had on their site somewhere that they were thinking of doing KOTOR 3 but ultimately decided to go with whatever it is they're currently making. I would think a new KOTOR is coming eventually. If memory serves me right, the first two games were pretty popular. It would be dumb on their part NOT to make a new game. But that's just my two cents...
Could also be a smart move to not make another.
I was hoping maybe the live action Star Wars show would be KOTOR, but I just read it's going to be between Episodes III and IV and it'll be about characters not directly in contact with the Skywalker family. That sounds good too though. ;D
